There arewell over 400 carsavailable inGran Turismo 7, making it the series' most content-rich title to date. When players first get started on theirGT7adventures though, their garages will be completely empty. Thankfully, there are numerous ways to unlock new cars inGran Turismo 7, meaning that players can quickly and easily amass a fairly sizable collection.

DespiteGran Turismo 7providing players with ample opportunities to buy new cars, they can actually get through almost the entirety of the main single-player campaign without having to do so. At least not after they’ve bought one as part of the tutorial, that is, though this will only set them back around 15,000 Credits.
Buying Cars From the Used Car Dealership
For those who didn’t claim any kind ofpre-order or special edition bonuses, the very first car that players will get their hands on will come courtesy of the used car dealership. They’ll need to buy one of three Japanese hatchbacks to start them on their journey, after which, they’ll be free to return to the dealership whenever they like in order to pad out their collection.
Though there are some pretty decent vehicles available here, players should be careful about what they buy from the used car dealership. A lot of the cars can be picked up later on for zero cost to the player, so big purchases really aren’t advised. The selection of cars available will update over time though, so it is worth checking in from time to time to see if there are any good limited-time deals.

Earning Gift Cars as Rewards
The vast majority of most players' car collections will come not from car dealerships, but instead, car races. Pretty much all of the vehicles that are needed to complete collection-based Menu Books can be obtained via racing, with players simply needing to secure a podium finish in their respective races in order to be rewarded with the corresponding gift car.
Almost all of the cars that are for sale at the used car dealership can be obtained this way eventually, though buying them can obviously save time. Of course, free is always better than paying for something on paper, but, for those who value their time more than some digital video game currency, it may actually be worth skipping a few of the more challenging races and just buying the cars instead (especially if entering said races would require them to spend Credits fixing up a car to race with).

Winning Cars in the Roulette Minigame
It seems like just about every modern video game has some form of gambling in it these days, andGran Turismo 7is no exception. As well as being able to purchase additional Credits for real-world cash, players can also get their hands on special Roulette Tickets that give them a chance to win Credits, tuning kits, and even brand-new cars (though the latter seems to happen very infrequently).
Players canget Roulette Ticketsin a number of ways, but the most consistent involves completing Menu Books for Luca at the Cafe. Granted, not every Menu Book will reward players with Roulette Tickets, but, given how easy some of them are to complete, players can get their hands on quite a lot of these tickets fairly early on. They’re also handed out for completing the Daily Workout, which requires players to drive 26.219 miles in a single day.

Buying Cars From Brand Central
Brand Central is a one-stop-shop for just about every type of car imaginable and becomes available once players have completed Menu Book no. 4. Whether they’re in the market for a new road car or just want to check out one of the ridiculous concept cars designed specifically for the series, Brand Central is the place to do it. Players will need to pay a premium for the convenience, but it’s arguably worth the extra cost.
Brand Central is home to all ofthe fastest cars inGran Turismo 7, and, unlike the two other options when it comes to buying new cars, everything that players buy here will be brand new. This can be particularly useful for those who plan on putting a lot of time in at the track, as some of the used cars available in the game come with a lot of miles already on the clock. It also saves players from having toget their cars repainted, as they’ll be able to choose the color that they want at the time of purchase instead.

Buying Cars From Legend Cars
Legend Cars is a high-end dealership that specializes in rare and hard-to-find vehicles. Players can gain access to it by completing Menu Book No.17, which will probably take most players around four hours of single-player gameplay to accomplish. The prices there can be a little on the expensive side, but, when it comes to rare and vintage vehicles, there’s no place quite like it.
As with the used car dealership, Legend Cars' inventory will change over time, so it’s worth dropping by every once in a while. Some of the cars there can be purchased from Brand Central instead, but Legend Cars usually has a slightly better price on account of them being used. Either way, it’s worth buying at least one car from Legend Cars, as doing so will unlock the “Living with a Legend” bronze trophy.

Gran Turismo 7is available now on PS4 and PS5.
