Since its release in 2018, fans have been raving over the latest installment to theGod of Warseries. Although its sequelwas not revealed at the PlayStation 5 eventearlier this year, fans are still expecting the series to return on the PS5. In hope of the series continuing onto the PlayStation 5, one SpanishGod of Warfan-page has created a custom design of the console, with unique designs from the franchise.

Many other games have had new console designs released with the debut of the game, such asThe Last of Us 2’s unique PlayStation 4. This customGod of Wardesign will hopefully become a reality from Sony, as it looks very impressive and improves upon the PlayStation 5 model that was revealed earlier this year. Unlike official console designs, this custom idea not only includes a 3-dimensional carving, but also unique accessories for display.

Because of the impressive graphics and gameplay features offered onthe PlayStation 5,God of Warwould only improve, and the game’s release will need a design as amazing as the gameplay. The SpanishGod of Warfan-page design includes a design of the Leviathan Axe on its side, a popular weapon that was introduced in 2018’sGod of War. A blue plastic “gem” is in the middle, and the runes on the Axe are nearly identical to those in-game. Additionally, this design includes two Blades of Chaos, the weapons that Kratos wields throughout the original series. Although the blades are not attached to the console or its controllers, they are equally as detailed as the Axe. Finally, the custom console glows red instead of Sony’s trademark blue, and includes an Omega symbol above the ports on the front.

Each minuscule detail on this custom model screamsGod of War, and it is impressive beyond belief. This design comes only two months afterthe 2 year anniversary ofGod of WarPS4, and shows how the fanbase of the game has grown over the years, just like the game itself. Although the detached Blades of Chaos seem like they could be better incorporated into the design, their inclusion fits with the progression ofGod of WarPS4, as Kratos uses his Axe for the first half of the game. It is possible that the plastic Blades could attach to the PlayStation 5’s controllers, or their design incorporated onto the touchpad somehow.

This custom design, though not officially acknowledged by Sony as of yet, proveshow memorable theGod of Warseriescan be. Fans of the classic games and soft reboot alike are impressed with this idea of a new PlayStation 5 model, and hope to see it become a reality. AlthoughGod of Warhas yet to be confirmed on the PlayStation 5, it will undoubtedly be released with a brand new story, gameplay, and eventhe inclusion of well-known Norse gods, such as Thor himself.

God of Waris available now, exclusively for PlayStation 4.
