Is Furina Worth It In Genshin Impact?
Yes, it’sworth pulling for Furina inGenshin Impact. She’s an amazing off-field damage dealer who can also greatly support her team. Simply put, there’s nothing that Furina doesn’t do for her team, she can even deplete the team’s HP casually.
She’s A Buffer
For 18 seconds after Furina activates her Elemental Burst, players will start collectingFanfarepoints to increase theteam’s damage inGenshin Impact. TheseFanfare points are collected when any unit in the party loses or gains HP.
Furina’s mechanics work to drain or heal the HP of the entire party, which can help stack more Fanfare points, not to mention that other characters might add to the stacking themselves. It’s not simple to maximize the stacks, but once players create a team that can, it can be a huge damage buff.
She’s A Strong Sub-DPS
When in Ousia form, Furina’s Elemental Skill summons the three Salon Members that deal damage based on her max HP. This ability continuously drains the team’s HP, which further stacks Furina’s Elemental Burst as she deals great damage for an off-fieldSub-DPS unit inGenshin Impact.
At max level, the three Salon Members will inflict around 14%, 10%, and 5% of Furina’s max HP, which can be notable if players build Furina inGenshin Impactto amplify that damage.
Don’t Overestimate Her Hydro Application
Since Hydro is an Element that reacts with all the other Elements, it’s beautiful to have an off-field Hydro enabler like Furina. However, players should be careful since Furina, with all her might, can’t replace the existingHydro enablers like Xingqiu, Yelan, and Kokomi.
What makes these characters amazing at applying Hydro is their ways of defying internal cooldown (ICD). As for Furina, despite her great off-field damage through her Elemental Skill’s continuous Hydro attacks, Furina’s Salon Members have a poor ICD that makes her a slow Hydro enabler.
Can Heal But Need A Second Healer
While Furina is a decent healer, her healing is slow, and she can’t maximize the stacking of her Elemental Burst fast enough. So, for that,she needs another healer who can help heal the team and stack her Fanfare. Not only that, but Furina’sA1 Ascension passiveallows her to continuously recover the active character’s health if they receive healing from other sources than her.
With these multiple sources of healing, players are bound to quickly complete Furina’s Elemental Burst stacks and maximize the buff Furina can give inGenshin Impact.
Has Both Ousia And Pneuma
Not only can the pretend-Archon use bothArkhe mechanics inGenshin Impact, but she’s also able to activate them with ease. Once players use Furina’s charged attacks, she will switch between Ousia and Pneuma states and the next basic attack of each state will activate the corresponding Arkhe-infused attack.
The charged attack mechanic is also responsible for switching the states of Furina’s Elemental Skill, between draining her team’s HP plus dealing high damage to healing the active character.
