Subdetection Units are robots made by the Fontaine Research Institute, so it’s no surprise thatGenshin Impactplayers will come across them as they travel throughout Liffey Region and Fontaine Research Institute of Kinetic Energy Engineering Region. It’s meant to monitor environmental data, but for players, it’s an item necessary to Ascend their characters.
Subdetection Units are bug-like robots, so they’re small and can be hard to locate. Fortunately, just like other similar-shaped local specialties like Onikabuto andScarab inGenshin Impact, they won’t disappear even if they’re hit, so players can’t accidentally remove them. If Travelers are farming the little robot, this article coversSubdetection Unit locations and farming routesinGenshin Impact.
