Even though the playable roster is the main focus ofGenshin Impact, the game has a surprisingly low number of character cosmetics. The two first skins were introduced back in update 1.6, during the famous Summer-themed Golden Apple Archipelago event.

Since then, the game has introduced only two new costumes for popular characters Keqing and Ningguang duringGenshin ImpactVersion 2.4. New posts on the popularGenshin ImpactLeaks subreddit has revealed additional information about two brand-new skins.

PreviousGenshin Impactrumorshave been hinting that two popular characters, Diluc and Fischl, might receive new skins in one of the upcoming updates. Recent leaks have finally revealed the appearance and price tag for the new skins. Diluc will apparently be the first character in the game to receive a five-star skin which will include changed combat animations. The majority of the community seems to be happy with the design of the new skins, especially considering that the two new characters are getting less popular with each new update. Fans loved the idea of making Diluc’s new skin fit the design of his signature weapon, Wolf’s Gravestone.

A couple of comments claim that Diluc’s new skin looks similar to Dante, the main protagonist from theDevil May Cryfranchise. When it comes to their release date, the new costumes are expected to arrive withGenshin Impactupdate 2.8. The thread also reveals two price tags for the skins, the green one represents the price during the event, while the red tag shows the skin price without any discounts. This means that players will have the option to get Fischl’s skin for free during Version 2.8.

Multiple replies in the comment section state that the new skins overpriced and players will probably save their Primogems for the new characters that should arrive withGenshin ImpactUpdate 3.0. However, a couple of Diluc mains have pointed out that they would definitely buy the skin for that price.

A significant part of the community revealed that the only way they would buy the new skin for Diluc is if HoYoverse decides to improve the character’s model. According to numerous complaints, Diluc’s eyes are actually below the center of his face which makes him look disproportionate compared to other male characters in the game. Even though a big part of the fan-base seems a little disappointed with the price tag on Diluc’s skin, the majority of fans absolutely love the idea of getting afreeGenshin Impactskinfor one of the oldest four-star characters in the game, Fischl.
