RecentGenshin Impactleaks have revealed more details about two new skins for Kaeya and Klee that will apparently arrive in the future. Even though the game’s main focus is the playable roster, character cosmetics have largely taken a backseat throughout its development.

The last two character costumes that arrived to the game date back toGenshin Impactupdate 2.8 in which the Darknight Hero Diluc and the Electro user Fischl received new outfits. The most recent live stream event for update 3.4 has confirmed that a couple of new skins will arrive in the upcoming weeks.

A couple of posts on theGenshin ImpactLeaks subreddit give more details about new skins for two Mondstadt characters, Klee and Kaeya. Both concepts apparently show the skins in their early stages of development which means that they won’t be a part of theupcomingGenshin Impactupdates. Klee’s skin is Halloween-themed which means that even if the images are credible, the new costume would probably not arrive until October 2023. Some fans claim that even if the skin concept was fake, the artist did a very good job since it fits HoYoverse’s approach to character design.

Both Klee and Kaeya are some of the oldest characters in the roster who were part ofGenshin Impactsince update 1.0. Klee was introduced as the first limitedPyro character who used to be an S-tier DPS characterback in the game’s early days. However, she has been pushed out of the meta since then and many players are asking for a rework that would make this troublesome Mondstadt character viable again.

A couple of comments have pointed out that Kaeya’s skin seems very similar to his current outfit. He is one of the four free-to-play characters that players acquire by finishing the first couple of quests. Even though he is consideredvery strongGenshin Impactsupportthanks to his Elemental Burst, many players avoid using Kaeya since it’s hard to increase his constellation levels, at least compared to other four-star characters that can be featured on the Limited Character Banner.

These leaks should be taken with a grain of salt since there is not a lot of additional information about them. However, it should be noted that thetwo recently confirmed skins for Ayaka and Lisahad their concepts revealed a couple of months before they were officially revealed in the Special Program event.

Genshin Impactis available on mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5 with a Switch version also in development.
