A new leak fromGenshin Impactis teasing a new playable member of the Fatui’s Harbingers expected to become playable at some point during the Fontaine cycle. With the release of the massively popular RPG’s newest region only a few months away, leaks have already begun to give plenty of hints about Fontaine. Recent in-development leaks have teased a multitude of new characters set to join the HoYoverse RPG’s playable roster and thelocations players will visit throughout Fontaine. Now, a new update is hinting at the next playable Fatui Harbinger.Previous leaks about the story of the Hydro Archon’s region have already suggested multiple Fatui Harbingers will be involved inGenshin Impact’s new story. Both Dottore and Wanderer have been teased to play a major role in the newest Archon Quests, with each character also appearing prominently in the Sumeru region’s main plot. Leaks have also suggested multiple new Harbingers may make an appearance with Arlecchino and Sandrone speculated to make their in-game debut in Fontaine. According to the update, Sandrone is expected to becomeGenshin Impact’s third playable Fatui memberfollowing Tartaglia and Wanderer before her. Teaser trailers have typically showcased Sandrone alongside a hulking machine companion, with Sandrone implied to be a researcher of automatons like the Ruin enemies. Sandrone has yet to officially appear inGenshin Impact, only teased through trailers and character voice lines.
The potential addition of Sandrone to the Fontaine cycle’s playable lineup comes as leaks fromGenshin Impacthave already hinted at several new characters.Lyney and Lynette, first teased in the game’s “Travail” trailer released shortly after launch, are heavily speculated to be debuting with Fontaine’s launch in Version 4.0. Leaks have also teased multiple other Fontaine characters including Cryo character Wriothesley and an unnamed character from Fontaine’s Navy.Genshin Impact’s Version 4.0 update introducing the new region is currently expected to launch in mid-August.
While Fontaine is set to bring plenty of new adventures forGenshin Impactplayers, the Hydro Archon’s domain isn’t the only new area set to arrive soon. Recent leaks have revealed Version 3.8 will be adding a new limited-time region, similar to the previously featured Golden Apple Archipelago. The new location, referred to as Penumbra, will reportedly act as a precursor to Fontaine and will bring with itnew skins for Klee and Kaeya. With Fontaine on the horizon and a new limited-time region coming up, the next few months look to be a busy time forGenshin Impactfans.
