ManyGenshin Impactplayers can identify with Layla’s shy but friendly personality and constant exhaustion, given her role as a researcher in Akademiya. It’s understandable that she prioritizes her research and thesis over her health and sleep. Thankfully, players can spend more time with Layla in the latest hangout added in version 3.6 ofGenshin Impact. As such, they can uncover many different aspects of her personality. It’s important to note that in order to unlock Layla’s Hangout Event, players must have an Adventure Rank of 40 or higher and finish Chapter 3 Act 5 ofthe Archon Quest, “Akasha Pulses, the Kalpa Flame Rises.” and a Story Key.

There are six different endings to explore, some of which involve relaxing activities with Layla, while others involve helping her uncover the mystery behind her thesis. Interestingly, rather than a liking meter, Layla has an anxiety meter that players must keep an eye on. However, many of the choices players make may not have a significant impact on the meter as they progress through the different endings. Depending on the choices made during the quest, Layla’s Hangout may take players from the Akademiya to theHouse of Daena and other locations.
Layla Hangout Event – That Which Remains Unspoken Ending
This storyline mostly happens at the House of Daena, where players help her uncover the identity of the Wisdom Seelie. To achieve the first ending, players must follow specific options and perform certain actions as they arise:
Layla Hangout Event – The Price to Pay and Its Returns Ending
The second ending involves considerably more travel than the first, and as the storyline diverges towards the end, it’s also feasible to complete the third ending shortly thereafter.
Layla Hangout Event – Once Bitten Twice Shy Ending
If the second ending is unlocked before, players can continue from “The Road to Failure” story path and skip a big part of repeating the story path. If not, select the options below and repeat the aforementioned tasks in between.

Layla Hangout Event – A Matter of Course Ending
This ending, along with the fifth and sixth endings, diverges entirely from the outset and consequently follows an entirely different storyline.
Layla Hangout Event – The Stars' Expectations Ending
The fifth ending largely mirrors the steps of the fourth ending, but there are two distinct paths to reach it. Players can proceed with the “Thesis Defense Practice” storyline for the first method, or opt for the “Remedial Measures” storyline for the second method. For players beginning from the start, pick the below options and follow the steps:

Layla Hangout Event – A Moment of Respite Ending
The last ending diverges earlier in the story path and follows a much more relaxing story path. Players can continue from “A Change of Pace” step. All steps are as follows:

Layla Hangout Event Achievements & Rewards
As per usual, three achievements can be earnedduring the Layla Hangout eventinGenshin Impact.
Players can obtain a total of 30 Primogems from the three available achievements while discovering all six endings grants an additional 60 Primogems. In total, players can receive a reward of 90 Primogems alongside some other resources.
