Genshin Impactkeeps introducing new characters to the roster with every new update cycle. However, character costumes are far less popular in the game and apart from the alternative outfits,Genshin Impacthas introduced only a handful of costumes.

The world of Teyvat is made of seven different nations and each of them has a unique and specific design as well as a symbolic element. This culture diversity often inspiresGenshin Impactfans to create their own fan-made skin concepts.

Players have the option to choose between Lumine and Aether to be their main characters at the start oftheirGenshin Impactjourney. A post made by Reddit user LittleBee42 has revealed an interesting skin concept showing how Lumine would look like if she was a regular NPC from Inazuma. The thread shows two different variations of the same concept and while the one on the right is more representative of the traditional Inazuma culture, the left one is more suited for fighting and exploring the world.

The whole concept was well received in the community as the post gathered over 5k upvotes. Multiple replies in the comment section claim that the two main characters should receive a new skin for everymainGenshin Impactregion. One of the main reasons why HoYoverse might never introduce these skins is probably because despite being the main character, the Traveler is simply not as popular as some other characters.

However, fans still claim that the fact that Lumine and Aether are part of every main cinematic is enough of a reason for this change happen. The most recent skin additions were back in Genshin Impact Version 2.4 when the game introduced skins for two popular characters, Keqing and Ningguang. There is a chance that the upcoming updates could bring a couple of summer-themed costumes just like it was the case last yer duringthe Midsummer Island Adventure event.

With the Inazuma arc coming to an end, fans are expecting a new nation to finally arrive. Multiple leaks have already revealed that the new region will most likely be the mysterious nation of Sumeru. The most exciting thing about its arrival is probably the fact that it will introduce abrand-new element to theGenshin Impact. Dendro is the only element that can’t be used by any playable character at the moment. With such a significant adjustment to the game’s combat system, players are hoping that HoYoverse could also introduce the first Sumeru-inspired skins.

Genshin Impactis available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
