Local legends are similar to normal creatures found wandering around certain areas in the game. The major difference is that local legends have an immense amount of health and their blows are deadlier than normal.

Chenyu Vale’s local legends go by the namesRulers of the Chizhang Mountains: YijiandRulers of the Chizhang Mountains: Tianyu. Although there are two, both act as one boss with two separate health bars and can be found in the same location. Toreach Chenyu Vale’s local legends, head to Chizhang Wall’s eastern waypoint and glide down northeast. The marking almost looks like a circle, and the Chenyu Vale’s local legends are found roaming around this marking.
How To Beat Chenyu Vale Local Legends In Genshin Impact
The Rulers of the Chizhang Mountains: Yiji and Tianyu work similarly to the Enkanomiya world boss, Coral Defenders. Both are Vishaps and may perform some combo attacks together. Since many of the attacks are deadly, it’s recommended to bringany decent shielder inGenshin Impactlike Zhonglior a decent healer to not suffer from huge damage.
Like normal Geovishaps, the Rulers of the Chizhang Mountains can easily be stunned if they hit a shielded character, making a shielder even more important.
For starters, the local legends are fond of body slams so make sure to keep an eye out when one of them or both leap into the air. Additionally, the Rulers of the Chizhang Mountains also like to perform a rolling attack; if they hit a shielded character, they’ll be vulnerable for a few seconds. Take advantage of that time to perform a deadly hit like unleashing a character’s Burst.
As mentioned before, there are two of them and each one attacks with a certain element.Yiji uses PyrowhileTianyu uses Cryo. If you happen to get hit by both, Melt will occur which causes very serious damage. So, alongside the shielder/healer, it’s best touse meta characters inGenshin Impactto end the fight quickly. Additionally, while raining, players may be Frozen by Tianyu’s Cryo, and Yiji’s Pyro gets even deadlier, able to trigger Melt and Vaporize easily,
Once one of the local legends reaches the end of its health bar, it will create a link with the other legend.If players don’t manage to kill the second legend after a few seconds, the downed one will regain some health and rejoin the fight. To avoid this problem, make sure to have both local legends with a small amount of HP andfinish them both at the same time.
Once the fight is over, you will receive theRulers of the Chizhang MountainsAchievement inGenshin Impact, which rewards five Primogems.
