In an interview withGood Morning America, Iger was asked aboutFrozen’s future.The famous Disney CEOrevealed that not only is the studio hard at work onFrozen 3, butFrozen 4’s development is already in motion. He stated that Jenn Lee, the director ofFrozenandFrozen 2, is leading both sequels. The first two film’s songwriters, Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, also confirmed that they are attached to the two future movies.
Frozen 3is in the works, and there might be aFrozen 4in the works too, but I don’t have much to say about those films right now. Jenn Lee, who created the originalFrozenandFrozen 2, is hard at work with her team at Disney Animation on not one but actually two stories.
Not much is known yet aboutFrozen 3. The first two films were separated by about 6 years, so if Disney follows this trend,Frozen 3should be released sometime in 2025. Olaf’s Josh Gad and Elsa’s Idina Menzel confirmed they are attached to the third film. Kristen Bell will reprise her role as Anna.
