After teasing the addition of Eren Yeager at the start of Chapter 4, Season 2 inFortnite, the latest update finally adds in new Attack on Titan cosmetics, weapons, and unlockables. The latest season inFortniteintroduced players to a whole new region called MEGA City, taking inspiration from Cyberpunk style worlds complete with rain and neon soaked streets. Grind rails and new vehicles also gave players new ways to traverse the city, while devastating weapons like the Kinetic Blade added a new wrinkle to combat encounters.

The reveal trailer for Season 2 also showed offFortnite’s latest crossover event with Eren Yeager andAttack on Titan. However, as fans found out through the Battle Pass, they’d need to wait a few weeks before being able to collect Yeager and his ODM gear. In fact, a recent tease byEpic Games even showcased moreAttack on Titancontentincluding skins for characters Mikasa and Levi. Thanks to the latest update, fans can finally start flying around theFortnitemap inAttack on Titangear.

The latest Fortnite update has finally arrived, and it is jam packed with new content for players to dig into. For many, the highlight of the update is the Attack on Titan crossover. In addition to Eren, which can be unlocked throughFortnite’s Chapter 4 Season 2 Battle Pass, players can also pick up Special Operations Squad members Captain Levi and Mikasa Ackermann from the Item Shop in exchange for premium V-Bucks currency.

However, new skins are just the tip of the iceberg as new items can be found in chests, as ground loot, and Scout Regiment Footlockers.Fortniteplayers can equip the Omni-Directional Mobility Gear, which allows them to grapple from the air and strike opponents on the ground. After attacking with the blades, players will boost back into the air to continue grappling or hovering for additional attacks. On the other hand, Thunder Spears are arm launched rockets that cause splash damage and friendly fire if players aren’t careful.

In addition to characters and items, players can also visit Yaeger’s Family Basement located somewhere under the popularFortnitepoint of interest known as Anvil Square. According to Epic Games, the location is filled with secrets and loot, likely making this a new hot spot destination, so players dropping in should be on guard. For those who don’t own the Battle Pass, Epic is also adding a free Week 5 quest that will reward the Courageous Mikasa Spray as well as a Scowling Levi Emoticon.
