Many fans are delighted to know that they’ll be able to play on the Athena island again with some long-vaultedFortnitemechanics and items. However, leaks indicate that there will be some significant changes made to a usually untouched element of the game.According to reliable leaker iFireMonkey, next season’sFortniteBattle Pass will be completely different, and it will have at least half the usual number of rewards.

If the leaks turn out to be true, this won’t actually be considered anewFortniteseason. It will be a separate time-limited event calledFortniteOG. TheFortniteOG pass will only consist of 50 rewards instead of 100, and there will be no bonus skin. Thankfully, the Bonus Rewards tab will still be available, meaning gamers will be able to unlock additional styles for the Battle Pass skins.

Some gamers expected the Tiers system to return since it was the norm back in Chapter 1. Players would increase gain tiers by completing Weekly and Daily quests and leveling up theirFortniteaccount. Nowadays, players have to increase their season level by getting more XP, and each time they level up, they earn more Battle Stars, which can be spent freely on the Battle Pass. The leaks suggest that the OG pass will continue to use the currentBattle Stars systemfirst implemented back in Chapter 2 Season 7.
