Fortnite’s Chapter 3, Season 2 brings an occupying force to the map. IO forces can be found all over the place and, like fellow players, will do all they can to take players down. As part of this new phase ofFortnite, players can actually find and make use of IO Titan Tanks that have been dropped around the map.

Where to Find IO Titan Tanks in Fortnite
Fortunately, the rumors that atank vehicle would be coming toFortnitehave come true and there are a handful of locations where these useful vehicles spawn. Once in a game, players can immediately open up their map to pinpoint where these vehicles can be found. The current known locations for IO Titan Tanks are at Rocky Reels, The Fortress, Tilted Towers, Coney Crossroads, Command Cavern, and Condo Canyon.
These massive vehicles are going to be quite hard to miss coming from the Battle Bus. Players should be aware, however, that these tanks are usually protected by IO forces. While these are just NPCs, they are typically well-armed and can even use the Tank to their advantage if combat breaks out.
How to Use IO Titan Tanks
While these IO Titan Tanks may not be good news for thenew resistance movement inFortnite, these mechanical beasts can give players a significant edge in their game. These tanks can seat up to four players, with one of them being the driver who controls the main turret, another operating the machine gun on top, and two passengers.
Interacting with the Tank will put players in full control of this vehicle, and the primary fire button (Right Trigger for Xbox controller) launches an explosive shell. The aim button opens up a thermal aiming option this IO Titan Tank offers.
These vehicles have notable weak points: either track, the driver’s hatch, or the engine. Taking out the tracks makes driving this vehicle incredibly challenging; destroying the driver’s hatch exposes the driver, and the Tank will stop when the engine is damaged.
Each one of these parts can be repaired manually and don’t requireFortnite’s new Repair Torch, but each one is a vulnerability players need to keep in mind. On top of this, players will find that they can exchange some fuel for a speed boost while driving the Tank.
