A newFortniteevent makes its way to the island, featuring new and excitingStar Warscontent. Players can earn a free Clone Trooper skin, Darth Maul, and play around in theFortnitemap with lightsabers and new Force powers, bringing forth a new age of Jedi and Sith inFortnite’sStar Warsevent.

TheStar WarsFortniteevent features a few Force abilities, but players might be wonderinghow to get Force powers inFortnite, and if they will give them the advantage that they need to get the Victory Royale, whether that’s for the Grand Republic, the Galactic Empire, or simply for the player.
6Force Jump
With an equipped lightsaber, players will be able to pull off a Force Jump. This jump is essentially a double jump, allowing players to reach higher ground. AsStar Warsfans know, it’s always better to have the high ground in combat. However, Force Jump isn’t the most necessary or useful Force ability inFortnite.
Of course, the Force Jump will help players reach rooftops and ledges easier. They may even help the player dodge incoming gunfire. However, in Build Mode, the jump is not necessary thanks to the ability to build stairs upwards. Even in No Build Mode, the Force Jump doesn’t exactly shine out.
5Force Sprint
Through being allies with the Force, players will be able to use their Sprint to a much faster degree while holding a lightsaber. The Force Sprint will have players dash faster than normal but at the cost of their stamina bar. However, their stamina will regenerate faster, meaning they will reach greater distances than someone just running without a lightsaber.

There’s no real advantage to using the Force Sprint other than reaching a higher speed than other runners. Players can’t use Force Sprint to automatically deflect bullets with their lightsabers, but they can dash at a speed that’s hopefully too high for players to get that sniper headshot.
4Force Pull
When playersfind Anakin Skywalker’s holograminFortnite, they will be able to train under him as a Jedi Padawan. This will see the player enter a Rift, in which they will make a quick detour to the Jedi Council chamber, before returning to theFortnitemap with a blue Jedi Padawan lightsaber and the ability to use the Force Pull ability.
With Force Pull, players will need to hold the left trigger, and then press the right trigger whilst blocking with the lightsaber to activate the Force power inFortnite. Players will stand still whilst pulling anything in their path. It’s not great, as players are vulnerable to damage, and no damage is dealt to players caught within the Force Pull, meaning those that have been brought closer can simply shotgun the player in the face whilst the player desperately tries to slash them with a lightsaber or changes weapon to something more close range.
3Force Push
To receive the Force Push ability, players will need to find Obi-Wan Kenobi, who will be a hologram somewhere on theFortnitemap. The spawns are random, so there’s no guaranteed find of the Jedi Master. However, he is indicated on the map with a green lightsaber symbol. Accepting training under Obi-Wan Kenobi will see the players enter a Rift that takes them to Tatooine, only for them to reemerge with a green Jedi Padawan lightsaber.

With thiselegant weapon from a more civilized ageequipped, players will have the training of Obi-Wan Kenobi, which will give them the ability to use a Force Push. By holding the block with the lightsaber and then pressing the right trigger, players will push anything in their vicinity away. It’s great to get targets off of the player or to simply put them in sniping range. It’s also good for destroying objects in the way.
2Force Throw
Under the violent training of Darth Maul, players will be granted the Sith Apprentice Lightsaber. Its design is the same as the Jedi Padawan Lightsaber, except for the noticeable red blade that pours from the hilt. Although each lightsaber acts the same,Darth Maul’s teachingsgive players the ability to use Force Throw, perhaps the most devastating and best Force power inFortniteso far.
With Force Throw, players will hold to them a cluster of rocks and debris created from the surrounding area and ground, to then hurl towards their target. Players caught in this hateful barrage of Dark Side power will have their health and shield torn from the damage, leaving them weak and perhaps eliminated. It’s also a great Force power for clearing out the area, as it can tear through walls and objects.
1With More Well On The Way
From a few reputable sources that detailed the incomingStar WarsxFortnitecollaboration event, many have noted that there are still some Force Powers yet to be seen. Considering theStar Warsevent inFortnitewill last for 4 weeks, the Force Powers within the game’s files are likely set to release later.
The current Force powers to be expected are Force Lightning, Force Script, Force Vacuum, and Force Rip. These Force powers could be game-changing in how powerful they are, especially with the dreaded power of the Dark Side enabling Force Lightning, which could devastate and fry opponents, maybe with a power like that players will have more of a chanceagainst Spawn of Oggdo.
