The latest additions to the game, just in time for the New Year, are costumes based on the hit TV ShowCobra Kai.
For those not familiar with the show,Cobra Kaiis the sequel spin-off series of the 1980sKarate Kidfilms, focusing on Daniel Laruso’s rival Johnny Lawrence. It’s become one of Netflix’s most streamed shows in 2021 with the debut of its third season.Cobra Kai’s fourth seasonwill be having Daniel and Johnny’s Miyagi-Do and newly formed Eagle Fang dojos joining forces, as they face off against Kreese and Cobra Kai in the All Valley Karate tournament.

To celebrate the release of this fourth season,Fortniteis getting costume skins based on the gi of thedojos inCobra Kai. There are ten of these skins that are now a part of the in-game Item Shop, based on either Cobra Kai, Eagle Fang, and Miyagi-Do. Among these ten costumes are two more variations, known as the Karateka Jones outfit, which represents learning Karate to defend reality. The other is known as the Heron Stance Hero skin, which represents honor according to the official website.
Alongside these skins are accessories based on Cobra Kai, with Back Blings and Pickaxes based on the Miyagi-Do or Cobra Kai’s teachings. The last cosmetic addition with this pack is a brand-newFortniteemote based on the iconic Crane Kick. This was the finishing move of the originalKarate Kidmovie, and has been referenced in sequels andCobra Kaiitself, used by Daniel Laruso and Miguel Diaz.
All of these items can be purchased individually or all at once through the Karate KO and Dojo Showdown Bundles. These items are great ways forKarate KidandCobra Kaifans to celebrate the release of fourth season on New Year’s Day in the game. This is especially exciting for fans of the series, considering thatthe fifth season ofCobra Kaialso finished shooting earlier this month too.
