When it comes to memes, there is no better medium to find content in than video games. Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Originswas initially revealed earlier this year, during the 2021 Square Enix E3 showcase. The trailer introduced the main protagonist, Jack, his companions, and his imperative mission to stop Chaos. The trailer was picked apart by many fans of the Final Fantasy franchise with Jack’s appearance, attitude, andabundant use of the word “chaos"as the primary reasoning.Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Originsbecame a meme when the initial trailer dropped, and it has become a meme again after fans were treated with a second demo.

TheStranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Originsscene in questionwhere a girl named Neonis explaining how she ended up fighting against Jack and his crew. Jack, with absolutely zero emotion simply responds “Bullshit.” Jack then turns around to walk away, takes out what appears to be a smartphone, and then hilariously begins to blast music. Fans have taken to Twitter to share their reactions to the scene.
The idea of Neon explaining her backstory only to essentially be shrugged off by Jack, and then have him play music as though nothing happened, became quite the meme. Fans not only shared their reaction to the scene, but they have also started to edit it, having Jack take out his phone and play different types of music such as “Never Gonna Give You Up” by Rick Astley and even “Numb” by Linkin Park.
TheStranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Originsscene is already funny enough without all the edits, but the inclusions of different songs only helped elevate further. Although fans were laughing at the scene and picking apart some of the over-the-top performances, it still appears as thoughinterest is present forStranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origins.
