A Reddit user named billpecota encountered a poster that advertises an interview with Pagan Min. According to the flyer, the interview covers Pagan Min’s dominion of Kyrat and how he made a profit over the cacao found in that region of the world. In a way, it makes sense to have Pagan Min publicly featured in this way withinFar Cry 6, given the similarities betweenPagan Min and Anton Castillo.
It’s amazing how much this one little poster does to collectively tie theFar Cryuniverse together. Despite each game featuring a new protagonist pitted against a new antagonist in a new setting, there tend to be reoccurring iconography or characters featured within eachFar Cryinstallment. Characters like Willis Huntley andHurk, while not featured inFar Cry 6, serve as a way to bridge the gap between games.
However, the fact thatFar Cry 6released five days ago and players have already found a significant number of Easter Eggs is quite impressive. Though, some secrets hold more personal sentiment than others. For example, recently, aFar Cry 6dev shared a touching tribute to his catfeatured in-game via graffiti murals scattered throughout the world of Yara.
It will be interesting to see what the future holds forFar Cry 6moving forward. There will eventually beFar Cry 6DLC that features previous villainsthat will release sometime in the coming months.
