AGenshin Impactfan has created an interesting concept that combines the game’s characters with HoYoverse’s recently released title,Honkai: Star Rail. Both of these titles are known for their unique approach to character design which makes sense considering that the gacha system makes the playable roster the games' main revenue source.
Genshin Impacthas reached global success since its release back in late 2020. One of the ways HoYoverse managed to keep and expand its player base is through frequent updates that arrive every 5–6 weeks. Each of these updates adds loads of new content that includes new characters, weapons, regions, or events.

A Reddit user named CWHardKnight has shared an interesting concept that combines Star Rail’s combat interface withGenshin Impact’s charactersand enemies. Similar to previousHonkaigames,Star Railfeatures a turn-based combat system and players are required to build up a roster of different characters. Players are allowed to include up to four different playable units in their team, just like inGenshin Impact. The post reached over 4.6k upvotes with many fans praising the design claiming that all the characters are perfectly implemented intoHonkai’s interface. Some comments have pointed out that HoYoverse should make a crossover event that would bring the two games and their player base closer together.
Manyunits onGenshin Impact’s playable rosterare inspired by characters fromHonkai Impact 3rd.Popular faces like Yae Miko, Razor, or Ayaka, all have their respective counterparts in the other game. Many fans in the comment section have stated that they would love to see the two characters that can be seen in the concept, Raiden Shogun and Zhongli, appear inStar Railin some shape or form.
The two serve the role of Archons, and they are considered some of thestrongest characters known in the world of Teyvat. Their main role is to look after their respective regions. Zhongli, also known as the God of Contracts, is confirmed to be over 4000 years old which makes him the oldest Archon in the game.
Raiden Shogun watches over Inazuma nation, and she’s probably overall themost popular character inGenshin Impact. The two remaining Archons, Venti and Nahida, are not deployed on the field, but they are present in the player’s party. Fans will soon have the option to add another Archon to their roster as a new region is expected to arrive in August.
Genshin Impactis available now on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is currently in development.
