The series stars a boy named Cid Kageno, formerly known as Minoru Kageno who was a high-schooler and a vigilante in his original world. He used to beat up thugs as a hobby, but an accident got him killed and transported to another world.

In this new life, Cid retains his eccentricity but pretends to be an unimportant character in front of his parents and sister. Behind the scenes, however,he formed the secret organization known as the Shadow Garden, an all-female assassin squad, to take on an imaginary evil cult. Though Cid was just playing around with his overactive imagination, it is soon revealed that the threat is actually real. Cid’s obliviousness to his own story is what makes this show truly entertaining.

Whether it be taking a walk in the park or beating up some terrorists, Anya is always bound to make everything seem hilariously interesting. However, Anya’s best moments this season still come from her trying to survive at her school by any means necessary. Even if Anya is often in the wrong, fans cannot help themselves from loving her.

1Denji (Chainsaw Man)

Chainsaw Manwas the most hyped-up show this yearand introduced fans to one of the weirdest protagonists seen across Shonen anime yet. Though all the characters in this show ended up being quite funny, Denji remained the funniest of them all. Denji was an orphaned child turned demon hunter, who had a very rough childhood, but despite that, he still had a non-serious attitude toward everything. What sets Denji truly apart from other protagonists are his questionable aims and goals. Throughout the show Denji constantly makes the audience chuckle with his hilarious antics and facial expressions.

Whether it be chopping up trees, hunting devils, or selling his own body parts, this guy just cannot seem to take anything seriously. Some other funny moments from this show that deserve a special mention include Denji’s first fight with his senior Aki, his first time putting jam on his bread, and his interactions with his coworker Power.
