Elder Scrolls Online NPCs That Should Be Brought Back Next Chapter Jakarn

In theBlackwoodChapter forElder Scrolls Onlinethe cockney Bosmer Eveli Sharp-Arrow plays a major role in the progression of the story, while the Dremora Lyranth comes back in theDeadlandsDLC. With the next Chapter on the way, it’s only natural to speculate which fan-favorite characters will come back to the game.

Jakarn

Jakarn is a character players meet very on in the Daggerfall Covenant questline, having been imprisoned on the tutorial island of Stros M’Kai. His suave and danger-prone characterization, paired with his rugged looks, makes him quite the dashing Breton.

Jakarn can be found at the Wayrest Docks after this first encounter, and he returned toESOfor theElsweyrChapter to take the player along on a heist in Rimmen. If the next expansion isindeed Breton-themed, it would only be natural for Jakarn to return again.

Elder Scrolls Online NPCs That Should Be Brought Back Next Chapter Darien Gautier

Darien Gautier

Darien Gautier is a classical Breton hero who Daggerfall Covenant players get to know very well throughout the Glenumbra and Rivenspire zones. He might be a member of the Lion Guard, but that doesn’t mean he’s a rigid Knightly NPC with no sense of fun - he’s actually one of the most affable characters.

The next Chapter has been described by developers as being more politically-focused and smaller in destructive scale thantheBlackwoodorGreymoorchapters. Darien Gautier is familiar with the politics of High Rock, and would be a shoo-in for a Breton-themed location.

Elder Scrolls Online NPCs That Should Be Brought Back Next Chapter Lady Laurent Stibbons

Lady Laurent (And Stibbons)

Lady Laurent is a world-renowned treasure and artifact hunter, always accompanied by her loyal servant Stibbons. She and her manservant can be encountered several times throughoutElder Scrolls Onlinein a variety of locations, including theOrsiniumDLC’s Wrothgar and in the Blackwood zone.

Elder Scrolls Online NPCs That Should Be Brought Back Next Chapter Razum Dar

As a treasure hunter known across the continent, Lady Laurent would more than likely make her way to the next location to track down some ancient artifact. If she’s included, players can expect Stibbons to once again bear the brunt of the consequences of her delving.

Razum-dar

Razum-dar is the red-mohawked Khajiit players meet for the first time in Khenarthi’s Roost, the starter zone for Aldmeri Dominion members. Razum-dar has all the appearances of a Khajiit warrior, but is in fact one of the Eyes of the Queen, one of Queen Ayrenn’s personal servants.

He’sa fan favoritecharacter thanks to his iconic voice, instantly-recognizable hair, and for being just a cool cat in every sense of the phrase.

Elder Scrolls Online NPCs That Should Be Brought Back Next Chapter Naryu

Naryu

Naryu is a Dark Elf assassin who players first meet in Deshaan, one of the base-game zones for Ebonheart Pact players. She appears several times throughout Pact progression in both Eastmarch and Mournhold, and is seen again in Vvardenfell during Balmora quests and even in the Gold Coast as part of theDark BrotherhoodDLC.

Despite being a killer, she isn’t crazy in the slightest, offering advice to powerful nobles just as often as she takes part in Morag Tong assassination contracts. She’s suited for adventures of all kinds, especially Political plots like the next chapter is meant to have.

Divayth Fyr

Divayth Fyr is regarded as one of the most powerful mages of all time. InMorrowind, he’s the only person in Tamriel who knows the last living Dwemer, who essentially lives in his basement being tended to for Corprus. Fyr is one of the firstElder Scrollscharacters who is described as a Psijic, and is encountered inboth the Clockwork City and Fargrave.

While his realm of influence tends to be the mystical and mysterious, Fyr would fit in well as a side character in the next Chapter as he has been seen time and time again tracking down Daedric Artifacts. If one appears in the next Chapter, Fyr won’t be long behind.

Norianwe

Norianwe is a relatively recent addition toElder Scrolls Onlinebut isunique for one reason(aside from essentially being the Tutorial Guide for new players): she is one of the only members of the Direnni Clan that players can interact with in the entireElder Scrollsseries, let aloneESO.

One little-known part of Breton history is that their origins are tied to the Direnni, who subjugated the ancient Nedic peoples of High Rock and interbred with them. Bretons are half-Elf and half-Man, and if the next Chapter does put Bretons in the spotlight, Norianwe is one character who could represent these not-quite-extinct Elves.

King Emeric, Skald-King Jorunn, and Queen Ayrenn

InElder Scrolls Onlinenothing is more political than the Three Banners War, which rages after the fall of Akaviri Potentate and the collapse of the Empire until the arrival of Tiber Septim centuries afterESO. King Emeric, Skald-King Jorunn, and Queen Ayrenn haven’t been seen in a meaningful way since their meeting at Stirk, where they temporarily agreed to join forces against Molag Bal.

The leaders of the Daggerfall Covenant, Aldmeri Dominion, and Ebonheart Pact still rule their respective factions, no matter the player’s choices throughout the game. It would be nice to see each covenant’s leader return meaningfullyto the game in the next Chapter, especially if it means continuing the story of the Three Banners War.
