InElden Ringplayers can acquire just about every weapon available in the game, including those used by enemies, NPCs, and of course bosses and demigods. Enemy weapons have a small chance to drop upon death, NPC weapons tend to be available at the end of their questline, and Remembrances can be used to acquire the weaponsElden Ringbosses wield.

Marika’s Hammer is one of these weapons, easily recognizable thanks to it being in theintroductory cutscene forElden Ringand in various other promotional images. Marika’s Hammer is the weapon Queen Marika (or, rather, Radagon) uses in the final boss fight - as such, unlocking it for use means beatingElden Ring.

Marika’s Hammer Requirements And Stats

Marika’s Hammer is a relatively light blunt weapon, which works well against armored enemies, andespecially well against armored enemies, encased in stone or another tough exterior (like the miners throughout the many caves ofElden Ring). The weapon skill Gold Breaker lets the player imitate Radagon’s attack where he smashes the hammer down three times for massive AoE Holy damage.

Attribute Requirements

20 Str, 12 Dex, 19 Faith

Marika’s Hammer scales with Str, Dex, and Faith equally until upgraded tomax level with Somber Smithing Stones. At +10, it has B scaling in Str, D in Dex, and C in Faith. It’s a weapon that Strength/Faith hybrid builds can put to excellent use, and works well with a Shield or a Seal in the off-hand.

How To Get Marika’s Hammer

Marika’s Hammer can only be unlocked afterbeating the final boss of the game– no, not Radagon: the Elden Beast. Upon defeat, the Elden Beast drops the Elden Remembrance item, which can be traded in with Enia at Roundtable Hold for one of two items. Marika’s Hammer is one of these two options.

The other option is the Sacred Relic Sword, a similar light melee weapon with an extremely long-range weapon skill. If you want to get both weapons, head to a Walking Mausoleum before starting New Game Plus. Though many won’t be able to duplicate Elden Remembrance, players claim that the Walking Mausoleum outside of Castle Sol (the one spewing explosives into the air) is able to.
