There are several methods for accessing the Altus Plateau, which is on the northwest part of theElden Ringmap. Players need to collect the two halves of the Dectus Medallion and then use the Grand Lift of Dectus. Another method involves getting killed by the Abductor Virgins in the lowest parts of the Raya Lucaria Academy.

Altus Plateau is a large area filled with tall golden trees, lush golden grass, andmany usefulElden RingCrafting Materials. Sadly, however, the region still carries the consequences of the Shattering, as seen by the many derelict buildings.

Players will encounter many powerful enemies and bosses while exploring the region as well as collecting various useful items such as Talismans, Consumables, and many more. All the available bosses will obviously reward players with some Runes and special drops likeRemembrance weapons in Elden Ring. Obtaining them, however, can be done easily by knowing each boss’ weaknesses.
All Altus Plateau Bosses, Locations, And Drops In Elden Ring
Altus Plateau or Main Altus Plateau is a section from the Altus Plateau Region inElden Ring. Other than that, there is also Mt. Gelmir and Leyndell, Royal Capital.
Both the Misbegotten Warrior and Perfumer Tricia duo will act as a boss fight in the Unsightly Catacombs, near the Perfumer’s Ruins in Altus Plateau. Defeating them rewards players with9,400Runes andPerfumer Tricia Ashes.
Tarnished will first encounter the Ancient Dragon Lansseax on top of a hill near the Abandoned Coffin Site of Lost Grace. After its HP drops significantly, the dragon will move southwest of the Rampartside Path bonfire in Altus Plateau. Players can also skip the first location and immediately come to the second.
Defeating the Ancient Dragon Lansseax grants playersanElden RingIncantation,Lansseax’s Glaive, and60,000 Runes.
Demi-human Queen Gilika is inside the Lux Ruins northeast of the Altus Plateau Site of Lost Grace. Killing the queen will unlock a room that contains theRitual Sword Talismanand players will earn8,500 Runes.
Magma Wyrm Makar is an optional boss located in the Ruin-Strewn Precipice,northwest of the Grand Lift of Dectus. The Magma Wyrm Makar drops24,000 Runes,Magma Wyrm’s Scalesword, andone Dragon Heart.
Southeast of the Grand Lift of Dectus lies Godefroy the Grafted imprisoned inside the Golden Lineage Evergaol. Killing him will earn players26,000 Runesand anElden RingTalisman,Godfrey Icon.
The Altus Plateau version of the Night’s Cavalry can be found walking around at night to the northeast of the Grand Lift of Dectus. The boss drops10,000 Runesand anElden RingAsh of War,Ash of War: Shared Order.
Deep inside the Shaded Castle, north of the Second Church of Marika in Altus Plateau, is the Elemer of the Briar boss. Killing it awards24,000 Runes,Marais Executioner’s Sword, andBriar Greatshield.
The Godskin Noble can be fought on the highest hill in Dominula, Windmill Village just northwest of the Highway Lookout Tower in Altus Plateau. Upon its defeat, it drops14,000 Runes,Godskin Peeler, andScouring Black Flame. Additionally, by killing the Godskin Apostle,players can progress in Millicent’s Questline.
Sanguine Noble is located within Writheblood Ruins, northeast of the Bridge of Iniquity Site of Lost Grace. The boss drops8,800 Runes.
The optional boss Wormface can be found west of the Woodfolk Ruins in Altus Plateau. Defeating it awards10,000 Runes,Crimsonspill Crystal TearinElden Ring, andSpeckled Hardtear.
Black Knife Assassin is an optional boss found at the entrance of the Sainted Hero’s Grave, north of the Stormcaller Church.Killing the assassin gives anElden Ringweapon, theBlack Knifeas well as11,339 Runes.
Ancient Hero of Zamor is the final boss that players can fight in the deepest parts of the Sainted Hero’s Grave. If the boss is defeated,24,000 RunesandAncient Dragon Knight Kristoff Asheswill be awarded.
The Crystalians pair can be found in Altus Tunnel south of the Minor Erdtree in Altus Plateau. Achieving victory grants players9,000 RunesandSomberstone Miner’s Bell Bearing [2].
Miranda the Blighted Bloom And Omenkiller are both fought inside Perfumer’s Grotto, east of Altus Highway Junction bonfire. Slaying the Omenkillers rewards Tarnished with8,400 RunesandGreat Omenkiller Cleaver.
The Tree Sentinel boss in Altus Plateau is actually two Tree Sentinels guarding a big gate east of Altus Highway Junction bonfire. The duo drop20,000 Runes,Erdtree Greatshield, andHero’s Rune [1].
Slumbering inside a crate southwest of the Outer Wall Phantom Tree bonfire is the Fallingstar Beast. Defeating the boss awards11,000 Runes,Somber Smithing Stone [5],fiveSomber Smithing Stone [6],Gravity Stone Fan, andGravity Stone Chunk.
All Mt. Gelmir Bosses, Locations, And Drops In Elden Ring
Mt. Gelmir is a region found in the west-most part of the Altus Plateau inElden Ring. It’s a dangerous area filled with volcanic activities and vicious creatures. Mt. Gelmir is mostly covered in rocks and can be accessed through the Main Altus Plateau Region.
Deep within the Volcano Cave northeast of the Ninth Mt. Gelmir Campsite Site of Lost Grace lies the Demi-Human Queen Margot. Defeating her rewards Tarnished with11,000 Runesand anElden Ringweapon,Jar Cannon.
The Full-Grown Fallingstar Beast is the mature and bigger version ofthe Fallingstar Beast inElden Ring. It can be found southwest of the Ninth Mt. Gelmir Campsite bonfire in Mt. Gelmir. The boss drops21,000 Runes,Somber Smithing Stone [6],five Smithing Stone (6), andFallingstar Beast Jaw.
The Mt. Gelmir version of the Ulcerated Tree Spirit can be found east of the Road of Iniquity Site of Lost Grace. It drops18,000 Runes,Leaden Hardtear, andCerulean Hidden Tear.
Northeast of the Minor Erdtree in Mt. Gelmir, a Grafted Scion will jump down from the higher platform to guard the ladder leading to the Ninth Mt. Gelmir Campsite bonfire. The mini-boss only drops2,313 Runes.
The Kindred of Rot is a creature that praises Scarlet Rot itself, and the boss version can be found inside the Seethewater Cave near the Minor Erdtree in Mt. Gelmir. The two drop10,000 RunesandKindred of Rot’s Exultation.
Red Wolf of the Champion is a boss found in Gelmir Hero’s Grave southwest of the First Mt. Gelmir Campsite Site of Lost Grace. Beating the wolf awards21,000 RunesandBloodhound Knight Floh Ashes.
Stonedigger Troll is situated northeast of Wyndham Ruins inside Old Altus Tunnel, Mt. Gelmir. Killing the troll rewards Tarnished with9,600 RunesandGreat Club.
TheErdtree Burial Watchdog is located in almost all of the regions inElden Ring. The Mt. Gelmir version of this boss can be found in Wyndham Catacombs, northwest of the Wyndham Ruins. The boss drops12,000 RuinsandGhost-Glovewort Picker’s Bell Bearing [1]upon its defeat.
The Demi-Human Queen Maggie can be fought north of the Hermit Village in Mt. Gelmir. She drops13,000 Runes,Memory Stone,which increases Spell Slots inElden Ring, andGolden Rune (1).
The Tibia Mariner is found within Wyndham Ruins north of the Erdtree Gazing-Hill bonfire. Upon its defeat, it drops14,000 Runes,Deathroot, andTibia’s Summons.
Necromancer Garris:
BothBlack Knife Assassin inElden Ringand Necromancer Garris are dungeon bosses found inside Sage’s Cave, northeast of the Abandoned Coffin bonfire. The former drops9,000 RunesandConcealing Veil, while the latter drops9,000 RunesandFamily Heads. Players should keep in mind though that the Black Knife Assassin will be invisible during its boss fight.
The Abductor Virgins duo is an optional boss found inside a cave in the lower levels of the Volcano Manor. Beating both bosses rewards10,000 Runesand theInquisitor’s Girandole.
Within the Volcano Manor, there existsa Shardbearer called Rykard. He has two phases; the first is the God-Devouring Serpent and the second is Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy. The demigod drops130,000 Runes,Rykard’s Great Rune, andRemembrance of the Blasphemous.
The Godskin Noble can be accessed from the Prison Town Church bonfire after activating the shortcut bridge. The boss drops50,000 Runes,Serpent’s Amnion, andGodskin Stitcher.
South of Fort Laiedd:
There are two Magma Wyrm in Mt. Gelmir. One of them can be found in Volcano Manor’s lower area and drops5,044 Runesandone Dragon Heart. The other is located south of Fort Laiedd and drops19,000 Runes,one Dragon Heart, and theMagma Breathincantation.
