The Four Shining Stars are at the core ofEdens Zero’sstoryline, as the battleship’s true capabilities are locked behind these four characters. Since Season 1 of the series primarily revolved around finding all four Shining Stars and getting the crew together, fans were kept in the dark about the actual extent of each android’s power. However, the latest episode of Season 2 of the series sheds light on this very matter, revealing the true power ofthe Four Shining Stars.

Sister Vs Daichi Edens Zero

The Shining Star’s very first foe in battle are the Element 4, a group of extremely powerful Ether Gearists workingunder Drakken Joe’s command. Sister Vs. Daichi

Daichi is an alien-like creature with complete control over the Earth element. He can sprout branches into his opponents bodies, inflicting unimaginable pain from within. With such a pain-afflicting ability, Daichi naturally has an affinity towards torture and subjugation. Pairing him with Sister perfectly balanced out the two sides as she is known for her pleasure-seeking antics and sadistic tendencies.

While the battle initially seemed to be in Daichi’s favor as he restrained Sister with his Pain’s Tree technique, it was soon revealed that Sister was in complete control all along. She was able to easily dispel Daichi’s ability and torture him with a volley of painful attacks. Fans get to see Sister’s dominatrix side in action, asthis iconic android whipped Daichiwith unrelenting force.

Homura Vs Kleene

Homura Vs. Kleene

Considering Homura only recently took up the role of the Sword of Edens, it makes perfect sense for her battle to be the closest in terms of fighting prowess. Kleene, otherwise known as Sylph of the Wind, is a considerably strong opponent, andpairing her with Homuraserved as the ultimate test for the new Sword of Edens. Homura is also the only one that went up against one of the Element 4 in World 29, where she was easily subdued by Kleene’s turbulent winds.

In World 30, however, things took a turn for Homura as she was able to best Kleene by cutting through the harsh winds with her blades. Kleene currently remains undefeated, though it seems that she has finally met her match. The battle served as a sort ofredemption for Homura, redeeming herself of the past failure in World 29. The final outcome of this battle is crucial for Homura as it will cement her position as one of the Four Shining Stars.

Laguna Hesurt Edens Zero

Witch Vs. Laguna

Laguna Husert, also known asthe Spirit of Water, possesses a unique ability that can turn a person’s body into water if they shed tears in front of him. This ability makes Laguna a powerful adversary, even more so considering he was able to take on Shiki, Rebecca, and Weisz all on his own. However, going head-to-head with an android is an entirely different matter for him as machines do not shed tears naturally.

While Witch claims that the Four Shining Stars are capable of shedding tears, their emotional and physical sensitivities are far less susceptible to making eyes tear up. With Tears Lover being Laguna’s only viable ability in battle, the outcome of this fight was quite obvious from the beginning. Moreover, Witch is a complete powerhouse with control over multiple types of Ether, leading to her being dubbed as the Steel Sorceress. Some may argue the battle was already quite one-sided, though Laguna had a better chance against Witch seeing how she’s the most emotional out of the Four Shining Stars.

Hermit Vs. Fie

In terms of dispositions, Hermit and Fie are complete opposites, making this matchup rather odd and lop-sided.Hermit relies on intelligenceand bests her opponents with ingenuity, while Fie prefers to heat things up and utilize distance to his advantage. However, the two aren’t exactly that opposite as both rely on tools and weapons instead of fighting directly. Hermit relies on hacking into software and programs to access weaponry in her surroundings, while Fie has his trusty sniper to do his bidding for him.

The fight between the two initially seemed fair, though it soon became apparent that Hermit is far too formidable for ahot-headed adversary such as Fie. With her heat sensors, Hermit was easily able to locate Fie, turning his long-distance advantage against him. Fans got to see Hermit in action for the first time, with the Shining Star proving that brawns aren’t the only requirement for battle.
