The Winged Sallet is a Fighter-only Headpiece that gives excellent defensive stats and 10% Silence resistance. It weighs quite a lot, especially forearly-game Fighters, but getting a huge 27 Knockdown Resist and 42 base Defense makes it worth shifting some things around in your inventory.

Toget theWinged Sallet,Dragon’s Dogma 2players must purchase it from Celeste’s Smithy, in the Checkpoint Rest Town, for 13,800g. To get here, take the Oxcart on the western side of Vernworth, or follow the main road leading west from the city.

The Ruminant Circlet is one of the best pieces of equipment forMages in the early gamebecause of its relatively high defensive stats, very low weight, and decent elemental and debilitaiton resistances. For 0.91 weight, you get an extra 30 Defense and 30 Magick Defense, which is better than some of the medium armor available to Archers and Thieves, for example.

Toget theRuminant Circlet,Dragon’s Dogma 2players must purchase it from Grisha’s Armory, in the Sacred Arbor, for 9,900g. To get here, head north from Vernmouth via the western exit until you reach Trevo Mine. Continue to head north through the woodlands until you reach the Sacred Arbor. Bring a Pawn that knows Elvish, or complete the questline to learn Elvish, to purchase this headpiece.

TheAerie’s Watchhelmet is one of the bestDragon’s Dogma 2helmets forArchers at the beginning of the gamebecause of its relatively low weight, Blight resistance, and half-decent defensive stats. It only provides a meager 1 Slash defense, but the rest of its stats are a sure upgrade from the base Archer set.
Toget the Aerie’s Watch,Dragon’s Dogma 2players must purchase it from Celeste’s Smithy, in the Checkpoint Rest Town, for 8,900g. To get here, take the Oxcart on the western side of Vernworth, or follow the main road leading west from the city.

TheHowling Hoodis agreat one for Thievesboth for its aesthetic design and its effect. Though it gives a negative resistance to Fire (and thus makes you more susceptible to those attacks), it also gives a +8% resistance to the Sleep effect. With the amount of Harpies out on the roads, and because this headpiece has a low weight and decent Defense stat, it’s worth picking up as soon as you can.
Toget the Howling Hood,Dragon’s Dogma 2players must purchase it from the Nameless Apothecary,in the Nameless Village, for 3,900g. To get here, either take an Oxcart to Melve and head far to the southeast to the edge of the map, or travel east from Vernmouth on foot.

TheSergeant’s Armetis a helmet that players can get just before passing the midpoint of the game, but because Warriors can only be unlocked a little ways after the beginning, it won’t take long to get once you’ve reached Vernworth. It has very respectable defenses, including a 22 Magick Defense stat, and offers a 10% resistance to the Silenced effect. It’s exclusive to Warriors, and can’t beequipped by other Vocationsat all (not even Fighters).
Toget the Sergeant’s Armet,Dragon’s Dogma 2players must purchase it from Celeste’s Smithy, in the Checkpoint Rest Town, for 15,400g. To get here, take the Oxcart on the western side of Vernworth, or follow the main road leading west from the city.

TheFriar’s Hoodis the default starting equipment for the Mystic Spearhand Vocation, but other Vocations – including Sorcerers – can pick it up in Vernworth after returning the blacksmith’s missing shipment from the Goblins of Trevo Mine. Get the Greatsword andArchstaff from the mine, return them, and wait a day for stock to refresh if it’s not available. This relatively short quest is worth the good Elemental resistances and Debilitation resist on this piece of gear.
Toget the Friar’s Hood,Dragon’s Dogma 2players must purchase it from Bjorn’s Armory, in Vernworth, for 8,100g. Bjorn’s Armory is located in the central square of Vernworth, just to the right of the stairs that lead to the Pawn Guild.
