Cyber Monday is here, which means that, although Black Friday is over,a ton of new sales are being offered onlinethroughout the day. That means gamers have a ton of opportunities to score gifts for themselves or for their friends and family whether they are looking for video games, tabletop adventures, or just about anything else.DnD Beyondis getting into the holiday spirit this year and offering the biggest sale of the year in its marketplace.
DnD Beyond is the official digital toolset forDungeons and Dragonsand the service has only grown in popularity since social distancing began and more and more RPG groups startedtransitioning to Zoom or Skype or Roll20 based weekly gaming sessionsinstead of gathering in person. It’s helpful for at least one party member (or the DM) to own a lot of sourcebooks on DnD Beyond to share with the rest of the group, so this sort of sale presents a nice opportunity to play catchup.

The Cyber Monday sale on DnD Beyond is pretty simple. The entire catalogue of sourcebooks and adventure books is marked down to $19.99 each. That means everything from the Player’s Handbook to the brand new Rime of the Frostmaiden andTasha’s Cauldron of Everythingare just about $20 each. This is a pretty great deal and offers a much easier path to catching up on missing books than the usual bundle discounts.
The sale is only available today and all books will return to their normal prices when Cyber Monday concludes. Keep in mind that, thanks to the content sharing feature, it is very easy for any one member of a group to purchase most of the books and share that content with all other players and the DM. This is one of DnD Beyond’s most popular features and saves every player from having to purchase digital versions of sourcebooks just to gain access to a more complete list ofplayable races, subclasses, spells, and other character customizations. There are limitations to how many campaigns content sharing can be enabled in by one player and how many players can be in a single campaign to help avoid mass pirating, but they restrictions are very reasonable for anyone who is trying to use the feature as intended.
If any other sales pop up on DnD Beyond throughout the day we’ll be sure to post any update, but it seems likely that this will be the one deal the site is offering. One nice thing about the sale on digital items is that selling out is not going to be a concern, so shoppers don’t need to worry about rushing to make these purchases, as long as they can get to them before the day is over.
Dungeons and Dragonsbooks are available now at game stores everywhere or digitally through DnD Beyond.
