Summary
Diablo 4has delayed the launch of the Gauntlet and leaderboards, which were due to debut on February 13. The thirdDiablo 4season began last month, and these two new features were promised by Blizzard. Both features will offer a challenging experience forDiablo 4players, rewarding them for their efforts.
Diablo 4has come a long way since the introduction of the season system. Season 1 was met with massive negativity due to nerfs to classes and downgrades to gameplay features. The second season had the mission of correcting the mistakes of the previous one, and it didn’t skimp on changes.Diablo 4announced significant adjustmentsto mounts, Nightmare Dungeons, and more, improving the pace and creating a better experience. With the arrival of Season 3, Blizzard announced new stories and content like the Gauntlet and leaderboards. But while theDiablo 4community was happy about the announcement of these features, Blizzard now has some bad news related to them.

On Twitter, Diablo General Manager Rod Fergusson said that the development team had decided to “polish things up a bit more,” opting for the postponement of the Gauntlet and leaderboards. Due to the decision to fine-tune the features, it’s unknown when they will be available inDiablo 4Season 3. Despite the delays, Fergusson kept players hopeful by saying that more details and a new release date will be revealed soon.
Diablo 4 Gauntlets and Leaderboards Not Coming on February 13
The Gauntlet and leaderboards are elements aimed at the competitiveDiablo 4players. The Gauntlet will be a dungeon accessible after players reach World Tier 4, although they don’t need to be level 100 for it to be available. This dungeon will have a specific layout, monsters, and affixes that will last for one week, being reset the following week. In the Gauntlet, monsters and chests will drop Proofs of Might, which players will need to collect as many as possible to maximize their score. Players will earn seals according to their score, and the top 1000 will enter the leaderboard. TheDiablo 4leaderboard will have several brackets, and everyone can qualify by playing theDiablo 4classessolo, or at a party of up to four players.
Like its predecessors, the thirdDiablo 4season hasn’t escaped negative feedback. Some players accused it of being a “massive step backward,” frustrated by the seasonal content and mechanics. Since then, Blizzard has been tweaking its game, like makingDiablo 4’s robot companion stronger. Although the postponement of the Gauntlet and leaderboards is a new disappointment, it shows thatDiablo 4devs are actively working to deliver a better experience for the community.
