Blizzard reveals the full patch notes for Update 1.1.3 set to launch in a few days forDiablo 4. As a live service title, Blizzard is constantly tweaking and changing the core experience through updates. While someDiablo 4players continue to wait for features like weekend events, Blizzard continues to put out new updates in an effort to smooth out some of the game’s rougher edges.
As a loot based game, players are constantly finding things to pick up and at times, it can get overwhelming, especially with the amount of gemstones that one may discover. Thankfully,Blizzard is currently working on a couple of highly requestedDiablo 4featuresincluding a loot filter to help players avoid picking up items by mistake as well as an elemental resistance rework that is on track for launch sometime in October alongside Season 2. For now, Blizzard continues to push out new fixes which have been revealed in the upcoming patch notes for 1.1.3.

In typical fashion, Blizzard has published the upcomingDiablo 4patch notes a few days early. Update 1.1.3 forDiablo 4appears to be a sizable one as it adjusts numerous gameplay elements including changes to monster abilities and Elite Affixes that apply crowd controlling effects, essentially toning them down to ensure the player is controlled for less time. For example, Chilling Wind now spawns overlapping walls less often, Cold Enhanced no longer procs on every hit, ice pillars from Cold Goatmen now have longer cooldown time, and more.
The patch also contains a sizable amount of bug fixes including some major gameplay problems while also fixing some of the more random and funny visual issues such as players sometimes appearing like they’re riding an invisible horse. The update also fixes a number of broken elements including one that gave co-op partners unintentional benefits after a player applies an effect or power on enemy monsters.Treasure Goblins also should now drop a guaranteed Legendary itembetween levels 15 and 40.
Even with Season of the Malignant still ongoing, Blizzard gaveDiablo 4fans a surprise look at what’s coming thanks to aspecial reveal at Gamescom Opening Night Live. Alongside actress Gemma Chan, who voices the new companion Erys, Season 2 is known as Season of Blood and features vampires and related abilities. Alongside, the season will 5 new and returning endgame bosses once it arrives on October 17.

Developer’s Note:Druidic Spirit Offerings can now be dropped from the Quest Inventory, allowing other Quest items to be picked up.
