With the current Season of Arrivals extended beyond what Bungie originally anticipated due to the unfortunateDestiny 2: Beyond Lightdelay, the roadmap of content has also been modified. Events like Solstice of Heroes and Moments of Triumph have launched as expected, though other seasonal events like the Exodus quest line was also placed on the backburner.

Originally kicking off back in June, the Exodus quest was intended to bridge the narrative gap between the current season and the upcoming expansion. While fans know that the ultimate reward is a new exotic weapon called the Traveler’s Chosen, the quest was also a way to show players why a portion of the content is being removed and placed into theDestiny Content Vaultinstead of just removing it after the Beyond Light update.

After being delayed by a few weeks, it appears that the final portion of theDestiny 2quest called Exodus: Evacuation is close to kicking off. While Bungie hasn’t given a time frame, many have begun to expect to see the final part of the lengthy quest return possible next week, once Solstice of Heroes wraps up. Also adding fuel to this rumor is the fact that the final steps have appeared inside the game’s database.

Destiny 2 Sloane

The quest steps pick back up where players left off duringthe Exodus: Preparation phase. After speaking to Commander Zavala, players will need to head back to Io to tell Asher Mir that he needs to evacuate. Before agreeing to do so, Asher has a few tasks to finish first.

Observer Effect

Asher requests players to investigate the Pyramid’s effects on Io. Translated, this means that players need to collect a sample from a Taken Phalanx Barrism in a Lost Sector, which is done easily enough in the Sanctum of Bones nearby. In addition, players will need to run through the Lost Sector to grab the chest at the end. Finally, the final step is more general, tasking players with collecting Traces of Corruption by defeating Taken anywhere on Io.

Into The Pyramidion

After that, the quest will update and two new tasks will need to be completed. Players will need torun the Pyramidion strike, which can be selected right from the Director menu. In addition, defeated Vex will start dropping Scan Traces, which players will have to collect a certain number of. Thankfully, these can be found from Vex anywhere on Io, not just the strike mission.

Double Blind

The final part of Asher’s new set of missions has players doing the Unexpected Guests heroic adventure. As expected, this is a Taken heavy mission that has players collapsing energy portals ending with a fight against Iraz, Eye of Savathȗn. Iraz has a void shield so a void power weapon definitely comes in handy during this battle.

After this section of the quest is completed, players will return to Asher and then be sent to Titan to follow up with Commander Sloane.

Clearing the Decks

First thing to do is to run the Methane Flush Lost Sector not too far from Sloane’s location in Siren’s Watch. Simply defeat Hive Knight Dek-Thra and open the chest at the end to move on to the next step.

Asset Interception

Next, players will need to reclaimGolden Age technology from the Hive. Players can do this by opening chests guarded by Hive Ultras in the Solarium and Festering Halls.

Be The Wall

Finally, players will be heading back into the strike, Savathun’s Song. In addition, Tech fragments will need to be collected by defeating Hive Ogres, Wizards, and Knights anywhere on Titan.

From here, players should next head to Mercury to check in on Brother Vance.

A Shattered Future

Vance’s missions are strike focused more so than the other destinations. The first one requires players to finish A Garden World, which can be access directly from the Director. This part of the quest also requires Timeline Fractures, which are collected from defeating Hydras, Minotaurs, and Cyclopses anywhere on Mercury.

In His Footsteps

The next strike to complete is theTree of Probabilities. Instead of Vex, players will need to defeat Cabal on Mercury for their Traces of Osiris.

A Disciple’s Plea

Finally, players will need to finish the Bug in the System heroic adventure. Like most adventures on Mercury and Mars, this one is fairly short and has players running through the Infinite Forest. Towards the end, players will need to disable a security banner and then defeat three waves of Hive as well as a Wizard boss called Proxy, Herald of Savathun.

With the quest complete, there’s now only one final destination in this quest chain. Ana Bray on Mars has a few tasks related to the broken Warmind, Rasputin.

Signs of Life

For this step of the quest, players will need to head to the Mindlab: Rasputin zone of the map and search for a signal from Rasputin. It’s currently unknown what exactly players are looking for, whether it’s a story based mission or if there’s some hidden signal somewhere in the zone players need to actively hunt down.

Recycled Components

Although it’s getting vaulted, players will need to participate in theEscalation Protocol public eventand defeat bosses to collect pieces of Rasputin’s shattered frame.

Signal Shielding

Following the same pattern as the other destinations, players will need to complete a heroic adventure. In this case, the Deathly Tremors adventure, which is known as one of the shortest adventures in the game feature tons of hive to smash through. Ultimately, it shouldn’t be too much of a challenge for players to get through.

Finally, speak to Ana Bray once more to finish her objectives. The last thing left for players is to head back to The Tower and relay the messages to Zavala.

At this point, players will unlock the Exodus: Evacuation triumph and what will likely be thekinetic exotic sidearm, Traveler’s Chosen. Provided players also have the Witherhoard and Ruinous Effigy as well, the Exotic Arsenal triumph from the Moments of Triumph will also unlock.
