To celebrate thirty years of being in business, the developer will be putting on a showcase, which may revealDbDupdates, sneak peeks, and a premiere of the company’s next release.As spotted by VG247, the actual event will take place on August 3 at 1:30PM EST.Dead by Daylightfans can tune in to the event via the studio’s official YouTube or Twitch channels. Exactly what will be revealed during the showcase cannot be said at this stage, but a hint on Twitter suggests it has something to do with the W inResident Evil: Project W, though it’s possible it could stand for Wesker. Just a few days ago,Dead by Daylightreceived its Tome 12 update. For those who are perhaps less familiar with the game, Tomes add new challenges to the game. In this case, one such challenge is for the killer to damage six generators on a particular stage. The update also featured five maze tiles for the McMillan Estate map and also rolled out a bunch of bug fixes, tweaks, and quality-of-life improvements.

All this love and attention given toDead by Daylightby the developer means that the game is still as popular now as it was when it released in 2016. It’s certainly ahorror game with a lot of replay value, and it’s become a huge hit among the streaming community. No doubt many fans will be tuning in to the showcase on August 3. It will be exciting to see what the developer has planned for the game and what it’s looking to do next.
