In a recent interview published by PlayStation Official Magazine, one of the producers atCapcom, Peter Fabiano, discussed various details about the game and spoke very highly of what is being worked on. In fact, Fabiano even mentions thatResident Evil Villagewill be “the best survival horror game to date.” Compared to all of the other fantastic survival horror games already released,Resident Evilor otherwise, it will certainly be interesting to see howResident Evil Villagesquares up.

In addition, Fabiano also commented on various other facets regarding the story and characters of the game. Obviously, he didn’t want to spoil any story details, but he did confirm thatLady Dimitrescuand everything else presented in the game ties into the overarching narrative and lore thatResident Evilhas built across a multitude of games.

Although, it does seem somewhat hard to believe that anything presented in any of the promotional material for this game relates to the overarching plot ofResident Evil. Though, so far, the presence ofChris Redfieldis one of the only links to theResident Evillore.

In any case, it will be interesting to see how things play out when the game is finally released in May. This game isn’t the only piece ofResident Evilmedia for fans to look forward to. In addition to all the Netflix projects, there’s also the upcoming film reboot, and therumored remake ofResident Evil 4. It seems now is probably the best time to be aResident Evilfan.
