The big reveal forCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2will take place on June 8, but in the meantime, some pro players have had the chance to play it ahead of time.
One professionalCall of Dutyplayers has given the newModern Warfare 2some incredibly high praise. On June 1,Call of Dutypro player Attach, who plays for Minnesota ROKKR, said that he had the chance to play the game year and that he thinks it will be the bestCall of Dutyof all time. Needless to say, that claim takes in some serious real estate, as there have beenmultipleCall of Dutygames that have earned widespread critical acclaimand are generally considered to be landmark game releases.

The originalCall of Dutygame made major innovations in the FPS space, whileCall of Duty 2launched alongside the Xbox 360 and brought the main series games to consoles.Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfarecompletely changed the face of online multiplayer gaming, with the franchise more or less following that blueprint ever since. To say that the2022 version ofCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2is going to be the bestCall of Dutygame is a huge claim, and it will be interesting to see how the community reacts to the game.

This time around, Attach has actually playedCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2for himself before making the claim, but his claim aboutVanguardmay still throw his opinion in doubt for those who are wondering how the newCoDis going to turn out.
Call of Duty: Vanguardearned mixed reviews from critics and is in fact the lowest-rated main seriesCall of Dutygame released to date. The mixed reviews and apathy from fans also meant thatCall of Duty: Vanguardhad relatively low sales for aCall of Dutygame, and it’s generally considered to be a low point for the franchise. There’s a chance thatCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2will turn things around and take the series to new heights, though that remains to be seen.
The bigCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2revealis happening on Wednesday, June 8 at 10am PT, and the game is also expected to be featured at Summer Game Fest on June 9. Fans will have a much better idea of what to expect from this year’sCall of Dutyafter this week, but they still won’t be able to make a final judgment call until they play the game for themselves later this year.
