Call of Duty: Modern WarfareSeason One is set to conclude on June 22, 2025, after having gotten a slight extension from Infinity Ward. Nothing official about whatModern WarfareSeason Two will entail has been announced so far, but some information may have leaked online.
This information comes from TheGamingRevolution YouTube channel, who has been largely accurate aboutCall of Dutyleaks in the past. However, TheGamingRevolution has also been inaccurate about someModern Warfareleaks, so fans shouldn’t take these claims as gospel. Regardless, withModern WarfareSeason Oneending in just a couple of weeks, fans won’t have to wait long to find out if there’s any truth to the leak.

According to TheGamingRevolution,Modern WarfareSeason Two may see the addition of game modes like One in the Chamber and All or Nothing. More excitingly, it’s also possible thatModern WarfareSeason Two will see the addition of the battle royale mode, though TheGamingRevolution’s sources say that theModern Warfarebattle royale mode has been delayed. If it doesn’t come with Season Two, it may be added with Season Three, or it could be scrapped altogether.
Besides revealing some new info on theModern Warfarebattle royale mode, TheGamingRevolution also touched on new weapons that may be added duringModern WarfareSeason Two. This includes a new SMG, a new LMG, and the Ballistic Knife. How players would unlock these weapons remains to be seen, but it’s possible that they will be unlocked in a similar manner as the recentModern Warfarecrossbow weapon.
Unlocking the crossbow inModern Warfarerequires players to complete a specific challenge, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see players have to do something similar to unlock future new weapons as well. Alternatively, it’s possible that players will be able to unlock new weapons through the next Battle Pass, though details on that remain scarce at the time of this writing.
Again, we must caution that fans take this information with a grain of salt. Even if it’s all true to some extent, there’s always the chance that Infinity Ward changes its mind about things. But withModern WarfareSeason Tworight around the corner, we won’t have to wait long to find out.
