Most notably, it confirms that the fan-favorite Jungle map fromCall of Duty: Black Opswill get re-released forBlack Ops Cold War. This map will be a part of the 6v6 rotation, and the developer has also shared an image to go alongside this announcement. Jungle is one of the mostpopular maps from the originalBlack Ops, and it has been re-released in otherCall of Dutygames. The post also mentions that Treyarch will release a new weapon and a familiar face from the campaign as an operator in the coming weeks.

TheZombies mode inVanguardwill also get overhauled, and Treyarch shares details on some changes coming to the game. It will add round-based Zombies gameplay toVanguard, but users will have to wait for some time before they can play this game mode. For this purpose, Treyarch will have to develop extensive systems from scratch in various areas, including the design of wave spawning, AI pathing, Door Buys, Wall Buys, and more.
Treyarch also announces a new map for Zombies inCall of Duty: Vanguard. It will be a complete reimagining of “Shi No Numa” fromCall of Duty: World at War, complete with new quests and areas to explore. Fans can expect this map to release after the conclusion of Season 3, and the developer then notes some other changes coming to theCall of Duty: Vanguard’s Battle Passin Season 3.Call of Duty: Vanguardfaced a lot of criticism for the state of the Zombies game mode on launch, so it’s great to see Treyarch continuing to make these improvements.
