Bob’s Burgersfans would love a video gameand theBob’s Burgersmovieis sweet and exciting. Fans love the animated series for its depiction of a family who love each other but definitely annoy each other on a regular basis. The characters are so unique, from wild Louise (Kristen Schaal) to nervous Tina (Dan Mintz) and silly Gene (Eugene Mirman) to adorable parents Bob (H. Jon Benjamin) and Linda (John Roberts). There are twoBob’s Burgersepisodes that prove that the show excels at depicting the joys and pains, highs and lows of Halloween: “Full Bars” and “Teen-a-Witch.” While one episode focuses on the fun of getting candy and feeling independent and adult, the other one is about the stressful part of finding the perfect costume.

Bob’s Burgershas great songsand the best episodes are also ones where the children have relatable experiences and work together. In “Full Bars,” which is the second episode of season 3, Gene, Tina and Louise board a ferry to travel to King’s Head Island, which has rich residents. These people give out full-sized candy bars and the characters are amazed and pleased at their good luck. Unfortunately, the evening turns dramatic when they learn about Hell Hunt: high schoolers descending upon children who are still trick-or-treating. While the characters are about to go back home, Tina says that they should help Ned and Milo. Tina has strong moral values in many episodes and in this case, she feels guilty for accepting such amazing candy and wants to be nice.
Fans love theBob’s Burgersmoviefor many reasons, including the excellent and beloved characters. “Full Bars” speaks to two important parts of a child’s Halloween experience. There’s the thrill of trick-or-treating and receiving massive candy bars but there’s also the fear that is often present in the air. Even if most kids don’t find themselves caught up in a game like Hell Hunt, kids who go trick-or-treating for the first time without their parents, like the trio does here, might have some scary experiences. They could get lost or run into older children wearing freaky masks.
ThebestBob’s Burgermovie charactersinclude this sweet and hilarious trio who are happy to have independence and go off on their own but also learn an important lesson in making sure to do the right thing. It’s interesting that Tina is the one who realizes that they should stay and help because Louise and Gene are goofy and sometimes mean, as they are young and still learning.
The other stand-outBob’s BurgersHalloween episode is season 7’s “Teen-a-Witch.” In what is one of thebestBob’s Burgersepisodes about Tina, the show delves into the importance that kids and teenagers play on coming up with a good costume. While kids are of course excited to get candy and chocolate, they also want to wow others with their costume choice. Tina wants to win a contest and be a “Hot Mess,” but her mean classmate Tammy Larsen (Jenny Slate) decides to take Tina’s idea. Tina hilariously wants to be a “sand-witch” and dress up as a piece of bread, but Mr. Ambrose (Billy Eichner) says she can be an actual witch.
Bob’s Burgerswill always be a successbecause fans can’t get enough of the unique characters. “Teen-a-Witch” says something profound about Tina’s teenage years. Tina thinks that she’s a real witch because one spell works, but then at the end of the episode, she realizes the truth: she got lucky but nothing supernatural took place. This episode says so much about Tina’s struggles to fit in, the trust that she puts in teachers because she’s intelligent and enjoys school more than most, and the desire that she has to be seen for who she is.
Kids and teenagers love Halloween for the chance to dress up, go off on their own and trick-or-treat or attend a party, and the excitement of finding a flawless costume idea that will impress others. Tina wants others to pay attention to her and think that she came up with a great outfit, and the effort that she puts into the perfect idea is relatable and feels true.
Bob’s Burgershas solid Christmas episodesand since the series does such a good job depicting the experiences that children and teens have, from wanting to fit in to dealing with bullies and fighting with siblings and dealing with parents' wishes, it’s no surprise that several Halloween episodes stand out as well.
