Summary
The element of will and control, Stasis is a powerful subclass inDestiny 2, given to players with the Beyond Light expansion. It’s the first time Guardians can truly harness the Darkness, and the abilities to slow, detain, and shatter, allowDestiny 2players to enjoy some truly powerful feats, as long as they’re careful to avoid the corruption of Darkness, and only use the best Stasis Aspects to further their journey.
Stasis has a chill touch to it, and players will find themselves freezing their enemies across the galaxy, as well as freezing fellow Guardians in PvP. There’s a reason Stasis was nerfed when it was released, and players can still find fragments of that great power when using the right builds tocraft inDestiny 2.

Frostpulse
Generate Freezing Shockwaves With Rifts
A conflux trapped motionless in crystal; infinite possibilities held in tranquil inertia. You unleash the Darkness within, suspending your enemies in harrowing stillness.
If players useFrostpulse, then every time they cast their Rift, it will generate a shockwave that can freeze nearby enemies. Whilst it sounds like it can be a lifesaver, that’s exactly whyFrostpulseisn’t the best, as players will only use this in situations when they are surrounded, and the healing properties of their Riftguarantee that they are already deadby the time that their enemies are frozen around them.

Glacial Harvest
Create Stasis Shards Around Frozen Targets
An elusive Vex automaton, a thing of flight and celerity ground to a standstill by the grip of Stasis. A reminder that the crystals catch even the quickest.
WithGlacial Harvest, players will generate Stasis Shards around targets that they freeze. They can create even more shards around Higher tier combatants, which can all be collected to restore melee energy. It’s not the best Stasis Aspect, due to the fact that the Warlock melee isn’t going to need refreshing so fast, and there are alternatives to ensure the battlefield is a frozen wasteland of Guardian potential outside of a quick melee tap.

Iceflare Bolts
Shattered Frozen Targets Spawn Freezing Seekers
An unseeing yet all-knowing stare fixed eternally to a solitary point. You track your enemies with blade-like precision.
To keep the ball rolling with frozen targets, usingIceflare Boltswill mean that players can shatter a frozen target to spawn seekers that will track and freeze other targets. This constant stream of freezing targets and shattering them can promise some rest on the battlefield, as they will not be able to attack in this moment of stun, and shattering them causes immense damage.

Bleak Watcher
Convert Grenades Into Stasis Turrets
The gaping eye of a machine, forever trapped in a glacial prison. You set loose the unrelenting gaze of death itself upon your foes.
Players can press and hold their grenade button to convert their grenade into a Stasis turret. This turret fires projectiles that Slow targets, preventing their movement speed, weapon performance, ability regeneration, accuracy, and even stunningthe most powerfulof Overloads. Enemies are also frozen if they have enough Slow stacks. Consuming two grenades and unleashing a vast amount of slow turrets on the battlefield will delete enemies in GM Nightfalls, providing the best Aspect for Warlocks.

Grim Harvest
Create Stasis Shards From Frozen Combatants
A worn blade, hewn by vicious crystalline razors; a single edge now severed into a thousand. You rend the universe itself and drink its seeping energy.
The Hunter with theGrim HarvestAspect can defeat slowed or frozen combatants to create Stasis Shards, which can provide extra melee energy if picked up by said Hunter or their allies. It’s an okay Aspect, bolstered by the fact that players can use up to 3 Fragments, but the fact that it really only charges melee energy slightly faster leaves much to be desired.

Touch Of Winter
Enhanced Grenade Functionality For Hunters
The two-pronged alloy skull of a Vex machine, its malevolent eye seemingly even brighter when contrasted with the cosmic shards around it. It is a machine of destruction, somehow made more menacing by its icy prison.
Players can expect different and enhanced functionalities from the different grenades available to Stasis Hunters. Here are the changes they can expect:

It’s a pretty good Aspect to use for those who enjoy throwing those pesky freezing grenades at PvP targets or PvE targets, ensuring that targets are slowed or frozen no matter what grenade choice they pick.
Winter’s Shroud
Slow Nearby Targets With Dodging
A desire for legacy, to be known, preserved in sterile glass. The world stops and starts at your command.
With Winter’s Shroud, every time the player dodges, they will slow nearby targets. Preventing movement speed, weapon performance, accuracy, and more, this can be great in the right hands, especially in a tight PvP battle with another Guardian. Alternatively, it can be used effectively to stun Overload champions, but that’s only if players are actually attuned to use their dodge ability.

Shatterdive
Shatter-Skate & Shatter Frozen Targets
A frozen scream trapped in gemstone; the recognition of a great and terribletruth. You descend upon your enemies with the enormity of the Dark.
Activating the Circle/B/Ctrl bind whilst in midair will have players quickly descend and shatter nearby targets. Whilst it’s not the best, due to the fact that a cluster of enemies need to be frozen for it to work, it really comes into play with those who have an Eager Edge sword, as Shatterskating is only possible with theShatterdiveAspect, which can really make a difference in Raids like Root of Nightmares, where players can shoot themselves across the sky like a rocket.

Best Stasis Titan Aspects
Behemoth Titans can discover the truepower of the Darknesswith their best Stasis Aspects:
Tectonic Harvest
Create Stasis Shards
A petrified grip, grasping for something once held but now lost. Your hands create power from nothing.
Tectonic Harvestworks similarly to other class Aspects, in which the player will receive melee energy upon picking up Stasis shards through shattering Stasis Crystals. The Titan Stasis melee is nothing inherently incredible, and the tracking can often be rough, so it’s probably not the best idea to bring this Aspect into battle when other choices are present.

Howl of the Storm
Launch A Wave Of Stasis That Freezes Enemies
The wicked talons of a war beast, frozen in a perpetual lunge. The creature is gone; all that remains is the violent momentum. You leap with feral force and the air itself echoes your rage.
Activate a charged melee ability whilst sliding to launch a wave of Stasis energy, which will ripple forward and freeze targets in its wake to create Stasis crystals. It can be great for saving teammates and creating some cover, and the ability to freeze targets makes them vulnerable to attacks that couldsave the game.
Diamond Lance
Create A Weapon That Can Be Thrown & Slammed
A weapon of Vex origin frozen at the moment before it lets its ordnance fly—like an arm, spear in hand, forever paused at the apex of its throw. It is the embodiment of action forever postponed, desperate to be unleashed.
TheDiamond Lanceis a solid choice for Titans thanks to the fact that they can use 3 Fragments, but there are other advantages in the fact that it provides an additional weapon for them to wield with the Stasis Lance. If enemies are defeated with Stasis abilities or shattered, they create a Stasis Lance, which can be thrown to freeze targets, or slammed to the ground to freeze a small area.
Crycoclasm
Slide Into Frozen Targets To Shatter Them
An ageless consciousness, crystallized, contained within a single moment. The imprisoned shatter at your approach.
Cryoclasmembraces the wild nature of Titans and gives players a powerful slide after sprinting for a short while. This slide will instantly shatter frozen targets and Stasis Crystals, which can cause a mass shattering across enemies. It pairs great with other Stasis builds that can freeze everything in reach, as this Titan slide can easily make them all shatter without wasting bullets.
