Summary
Forza Horizon 5is a beautiful and fun racing game that combines the best of arcade and simulation mechanics to make for an accessible title that everyone enjoys. For what it’s worth, the game’s progression is pretty loaded and will blast players with new cars and events at every step of the way, which can become pretty overwhelming after a point.
However, there will come a time when players need as many credits as possible toafford the many cars, upgrades, cosmetics, and other such tidbits that the game lets players buy. This is where the Auction House comes into the picture, allowing players to sell off their precious vehicles and get a tidy profit in the process. Here are some cars that sell for boatloads inForza Horizon 5’s Auction House.

Updated on July 18, 2025 by Vlad Mazanko:Forza Horizon 5 has been released on PS5, welcoming thousands of new players to the sprawling open-world racing game. Newcomers should note that Forza Horizon 5’s Auction feature is a dynamic marketplace that constantly evolves as new vehicles are added to the game’s ever-expanding car roster.
Features like the Backstage Pass and Festival Playlist rotation mean that some rare cars can become more common, leading to their Auction prices dropping over time. While some players may want to collect as many rare cars as possible, for many, even seemingly ordinary vehicles can fetch a significant amount of in-game credits from dedicated collectors eager to complete their collections.Understanding how the Auction worksand utilizing its dynamic changes to one’s benefit is always a plus.

Following the PS5 release, the list has been updated to reflect the current state of in-game Auctions. Cars that have lost their “very rare” Auction status are highlighted (though they can still be sold for a substantial sum), while new valuable additions from recent content updates have been included, providing fresh opportunities to earn the maximum in-game currency (20 million credits) for a single rare car.
1BMW M4 Competition Coupé 2021
A Newer Iteration of the Classic, with a Signature Twin-Kidney Grille
The car’s current value has recently dropped slightly below its maximum of 20 million, but it can still be sold for at least eight million credits at the Auction.
The second generation of the beloved BMW M4 is more charged than ever, serving as a testament to its impressive performance on the open road. One of the newer BMWs inForza Horizon 5, this vehicle’s appearance turns heads when exploring the world, especially considering how rare it is.

Players who are lucky enough to get one through the Festival Playlist or Forzathon Shop listing should consider selling it right away for a hefty 20 million credits. Apart from the modernized Bavarian looks, it isn’t too extraordinary in its class.
2Lamborghini Aventador SVJ 2018
An Improvement Over the Aventador SV, with a Much Higher Selling Price
The car’s current value has recently dropped slightly below its maximum of 20 million, but it can still be sold for at least 16 million credits at the Auction, with some bids reaching as high as 20 million.
The Lamborghini Aventador is one of the coolest cars of all time that players love to check out in any racing game.Forza Horizon 5is no exception to this golden rule, and trying to get one of these cars in the game can be quite a challenge.

This is especially true for the SVJ variant, which is even pricier and requires a ton of money to procure. If players are lucky enough to get this car, then they can sell it in the Auction House for a cool 20 million credits.
3Hyundai N Vision 74 2022
A Unique Concept but more Showpiece than Powerhouse
The car’s current value has dropped notably below its maximum of 20 million, but it can still be sold for at least eight million credits at the Auction.
One of the standout stars inForza Horizon 5, introduced during the game’s recent Retrowave update, the Hyundai N Vision 74 is almost too cool and unique for some players to consider selling, especially given that the Auction House prices for the N Vision 74 are highly unpredictable, and not every seller can reliably net the coveted 20 million credits.

This hydrogen-fueled electric concept car boasts incredible visual appeal, making it a prized possession for collectors. Despite its striking design, the N Vision 74has limited upgrade potentialdue to its unconventional hydrogen-electric configuration. While instant torque makes for a fun driving experience, even with every possible upgrade installed, its performance stats fall short of being groundbreaking. Ultimately, this car feels more like a futuristic showpiece and a proof of concept for hydrogen technology than a practical or dominant choice for competitive racing.
4Mitsubishi FTO GP Version R 1998
An Epitome of Rare Classics Begging to be Sold
The car’s current value has recently dropped below its maximum of 20 million, but it can still be sold for at least 10 million credits at the Auction.
Currentlyone of the rarest Retro Sports CarsinForza Horizon 5, the Mitsubishi FTO GP Version R stands out more for its scarcity than for its performance. While it’s nice to see this model finally make its way intoHorizonafter being a staple in theForza Motorsportseries, it’s not exactly a standout ride.

This version of the FTO includes improvements over the standard model, such as upgraded suspension, a better differential, and thicker anti-roll barsto enhance handling. However, even with these upgrades, the FTO GP Version R delivers below-average stats and a modest appearance. That said, Mitsubishi fans might still appreciate its tuner flexibility, as it offers plenty of body parts for customization.
The real value of the Mitsubishi FTO GP Version R lies in its rarity. The best way to make use of this car after unlocking it is to list it on the Auction House, where it can easily fetch the maximum 20 million credits, making it an instant moneymaker for players.

5Abarth 124 Spider 2017
This Little Fella is Ready to Make its Owner Happier
For players who might feel something familiar when looking at the Abarth 124 Spider, it may be because this car is actually a twin to the iconic Mazda Miata MX-5, sharing an identical chassis and many other parts. Compact, stylish, and sprinkled with Italian flair, the open-top Abarth 124 Spider is a fun car to own and drive inForza Horizon 5.
However, given the Abarth 124 Spider’s in-game value, it might be one of the best contenders to sell at the Auction House. With performance not impressive enough to fully dominate the racing scene, few players will regret parting ways with this charming but non-essential ride.

6Aston Martin Lagonda 1990
Very Rare and Exclusive Slice of Aston Martin’s Heritage
The Aston Martin Lagonda is easily among the most interesting models here, standing as one of the most exclusive retro luxury saloons available inForza Horizon 5. The car is so rare that few players even know of its existence. It was Aston Martin’s second attempt at creating a four-door saloon to compete against luxury Bentley and Rolls-Royce models.
The Aston Martin Lagonda features signature bodywork of that era, completing the car’s menacing and respectable appearance. Luxury status aside, its performance isn’t as impressive after more than 35 years, so players who aren’t fans of automotive history may wish to part ways with this model — especially with such tempting Auction prices.

7BMW 850CSI 1995
BMW’s Collector’s Piece with Rich Heritage
There are many very rare BMW models inForza Horizon 5(including the valuable BMW iX xDrive50 and BMW M5 CS), and the BMW 850CSI is definitely one of them. With its rich heritage as the first road car to offer a V12 engine mated to a 6-speed manual transmission, the BMW 850CSI may find its fans, especially given that only 1,500 real-life models were ever built.
Back in its time, the 850CSI represented the most powerful production car from Bavarian Motors. Yet today, this sports car stands more as a retro piece for true collectors than a ride capable of defining one’s garage inForza Horizon 5.

8Honda Civic Coupe GRC 2016
For its Outstanding Price, this Rally Car’s Performance isn’t as Alluring
With so many great Rally Monsters to choosefrom inForza Horizon 5, especially with theRally Adventureexpansion, the Honda Civic Coupe GRC may not feel as impressive when directly compared to icons like the MG Metro 6R4, Ford M-Sport Fiesta RS, or Hoonigan Ford RS200 Evolution.
Still, this rally variant of the 2018 Honda Civic Type R is more than capable of providing a fun off-roading experience, boasting sleek bodywork, distinctive paintwork, and notably improved suspension and brakes. Due to its rare status, though, it is undoubtedly overpriced. The best way to put the Civic GRC to good use is to sell it for 20 million credits.
9Toyota Camry TRD 2023
An Ordinary Car, Only Interesting to Collectors for its Very Rare Status
The Toyota Camry TRD stands as an overall unremarkable modern mid-size sedan that won’t excite players looking to drive endlessly exclusive cars inForza Horizon 5. Sure, the TRD treatment (Toyota Racing Development) gives this Camry some edge, featuring a new body kit, improvements to brakes, exhaust, and suspension, as well as a 3.5-liter naturally aspirated V6 engine.
Possibly the most curious thing about it is thatthe car’s real-world price startsat around $30,000. With its jaw-dropping in-game price of 20 million credits, the only right solution for its owners is to sell the Toyota Camry TRD at the Auction to some desperate collectors wanting to complete their rare car assortments.
10Audi RS 4 Avant 2018
An Unremarkable Moneybag Vehicle that Won’t be Missed
Audi is one of the most iconic and beloved car brands, consistently represented in the arcade racing genre. InForza Horizon 5, the brand boasts a diverse lineup of models with varying performance levels, many of which are notoriously hard to acquire and, as a result, incredibly expensive. The Audi RS 4 Avant ‘18 (RS stands for “Racing Sport”) is one such example.
This seemingly ordinary, comfortable Super Saloon, with average driving capabilities, doesn’t stand out on the track but holds significant value in the game’s economy. Consistently selling for 20 million in-game credits, flipping this rare ride is arguably the best use for it once added to a player’s collection.
