Atlus has accidentally leaked two bigPersonafranchise announcements presumably meant for the Xbox Showcase on June 11: thePersona 3remake andPersona 5 Tactica. There have been all kinds ofPersonaseries leaks as of late, so while the existence of these games is not exactly news to hardcore fans, this still marks the most substantial leaks for both of the games to date.
ThePersona 3remake has been rumored for quite some time, with reputable leakers already claiming that the game would be announced at the Xbox Showcase on June 11. The newPersona 5spin-offPersona 5 Tacticahas been hinted at in the past as well, though now fans have more concrete information about the project and what it has to offer.

Atlus leaked trailers for both the games on its Instagram account, but the trailers have since been pulled down. The trailers confirmed that thePersona 3remake is titledPersona 3 Reloadand that it will be available in early 2024 for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X as a day one Xbox Game Pass game. There has been no word on ifPersona 3 Reloadis coming to other platforms at the time of this writing. ThePersona 5spin-off gamePersona 5 Tacticais coming to the same platforms and Xbox Game Pass, but it received a specific release date of July 01, 2025.
Based on the leaked trailer,Persona 5 Tacticais essentially a turn-based strategy game alaFire EmblemorFinal Fantasy Tactics. The story will see thePhantom Thieves fromPersona 5transported to a strange new world where they align themselves with a group called the Rebel Corps. Atlus has had a lot of success with itsPersonaseries spin-offs so far, so it seems like a safe bet thatPersona 5 Tacticawill live up to fan expectations, but it’s still too early to make that call.
SomePersona 5fans will no doubt be excited aboutPersona 5 Tactica, but others may be disappointed that Atlus still has yet to announce thelong-awaitedPersona 6. At this rate, it seems unlikely that a properPersona 6announcement will be happening at any point in the near future. The bright side is that fans of the franchise should have an exciting day on June 11, and they will havePersona 5 Tacticato look forward to in November andPersona 3 Reloadto check out in early 2024.
