Players looking for The Mist will be sent on a scavenger hunt of clues across Ireland. Their second clue sends players looking for adecaying boat that has run aground in Ulster’s peninsula. This description has led many players on a wild hunt and this guide is here to help.

Finding the Right Place to Look
Assassin’s Creed Valhallaoften asks players to locate cluesin specific areas. The Mist’s first clue comes from the death of another member of the Children of Danu, The Blaze. This clue leads players to the Doon Daven stone circle in Ulster. Successfully retrieving that clue prompts the hint that has led to much confusion. The note remarks about locating a decaying boat that is nearby the Foyne Reservoir. This is a body of water in Ulster in the northern part of Ireland.
The mention of the Foyne Reservoir may have caught out some players for this clue. There are a number of bodies of water nearby including the river that it drains into. Those who have searched the reservoir as well as along the riverbanks are going to be out of luck. The location of the decaying boat is actually to the west of the Foyne Reservoir and aground with a number of other vessels. Players need to head to the northwest of the settlement at Aileach to locate the clue totrack down this member of the Children of Danu.
Locating the Wreckage
The area to the west of the Foyne Reservoir inAssassin’s Creed Valhalla’sWrath of the DruidsDLCincludes a lengthy beach that is actually littered with the remnants of a Viking fleet. This is where players need to search to find the location of the decaying boat as well as the clue.
Players need to head towards the center of this vast beach area. There is an especially large wreckage that players can search for various lower-tierrewards like delicacies inWrath of the Druids. This wreckage is the decaying boat referenced by the clue.
The clue is on an altar right by the side of this wreckage. This is the answer to the riddle of the second clue for The Mist. This clue will eventually send players to The Mist’s actual location in the northwest of Ireland on an island just off of the western coast of Ulster.
