WhileAssassin’s Creed Miragemay be smaller in scope than recent entries of the series, and primarily centered around traversing the densely populated andimmensely detailed city of Baghdad, players will still need a mount at times in order to travel larger swathes of the game’s map. While there are many different mounts available, they do not have assigned statistics or performance differences, and purchasing them is done purely on a cosmetic basis.
Players can purchase the majority of the game’s mounts from Stables, which are found throughout the game-world, most commonly near the main entrances and gateways to settlements and the big city. Additional mounts can also be unlocked through DLC content in the game’s Animus Store.

Fajir (Dawn)
Fajir is the starting mount players will first receive after departing Alamut for Baghdad in the game’s prologue. As the game’s only camel mount, Fajir can be anespecially immersivemount to use, and will certainly be the noisiest. With a slightly longer stride and a higher seated position, there are some advantages to having Fajir equipped compared with the horses, though speed is not necessarily one of them.
Al-Dhabaab (The Mist)
Al-Dhabaab, The Mist, is the first of the available horses Basim can purchase from a stable. Smoky gray in color, Al-Dhabaab has a slightly ethereal aura, despite having no supernatural abilities, this is simply a good quality Arabian horse. Al-Dhabaab can be acquired from any Stable in the world, and can be purchased for a price of 100 Dirhams.
Al-‘Atif (The Comforter)
Al-‘Atif, The Comforter, is a jet-black horse, giving Basim a fearsome and intimidating look as he rides into town. As the only all-black horse available on the market, this makes Al-‘Atif a very popular choice especially as a first horse. Al-‘Atif is available from any in-games Stable and can be purchased fora reasonable price of 100 Dirhams.
Al-Mu’ammil (The Hopeful)
Al-Mu’ammil is a dark bay-colored horse with a white marking between the eyes. While the pattern is very similar to those of Al-Hazziy and Al-Tali, this mount comes at a cheaper price and has a basic saddle as part of its cosmetic. Al-Mu’ammil can be acquired from any in-game Stable, and will cost 100 Dirhams to purchase.
Al-Sabiq (The Winner)
Al-Sabiq is a very striking horse with a white coat and a contrasting black mane, which really bringsan appearance of class and quality to Basim, as well as complimenting many of the game’s available Outfits and Costumes. Al-Sabiq can be bought from any Stable in the game world, and will cost 125 Dirhams to unlock.
Al-Riyh (Wind)
Al-Riyh is another white horse with a dark mane, who appears to accentuate the world-renowned qualities of Middle-Eastern horse breeding. Al-Musafir (Traveller)
Al-Musafir is a similarly colored dun horse, whose only real distinguishable features relative to Al-Qamar are the different color and material of saddle. Al-Musafir’s saddle seems to be a lighter shade of fur and covers a larger area of the horse’s back. Al-Musafir can be bought from any Stable for a price of 125 Dirhams.
Al-Fawz (Victory)
Al-Fawz is a unique horse with dark fur contrasting with accentuated white markings on the nose and legs. Al-Tali (The Follower)
Al-Tali, The Follower, is light-brown horse similar to Al-Hazziy but with less of a red coloring and a slightly lighter mane. Al-Zill can be purchased from any Stable and will cost 100 Dirhams to unlock.
Sand Horse
The Sand Horse is a unique magical horse decorated with bright gold patterns and luminous eyes. The horse has no saddle, which makes Basim appear to be a highly skilled rider, but the horse itself is most impressive for itselaborate cosmetic design. The Sand Horse can be acquired by purchasing the Deluxe Pack DLC from the in-game Animus store.
Merthykhuwar
Merthykhuwar is by far the most fantastical mount available to players inAssassin’s Creed Mirage, and will be especially suited to those who enjoyed the magical elements of the series’ recent titles, rather than those of the original entries. This dark, fiery beast appears to be from another realm entirely and is sure to strike fear into any who see it. Merthykhuwar can be acquired by purchasing the Fire Demon Pack from the in-gameAnimusStore.
