Alan Wake 2: Streamside Stash Key & Containers Locations
As previously noted, the container that is opened with the Streamside Stash Key is near the Crow’s Foot Hills, which are situated in thesouthwest quadrant ofCauldron Lake. More specifically, the container is in thecampsite to the north of the Crow’s Foot Hills, and its precise position has been marked on the map that is above.

With respect to the location of the Streamside Stash Key, players that make their way to the campsite that is north of the Crow’s Foot Hills, turn on their flashlights, and face southward should see a series ofyellow arrows on the trees. Those arrows pointsouthward, andAlan Wakefansthat follow them will be taken directly to the key, which is sitting on top of arock. For full clarity, the position of the Streamside Stash Key has also been marked on the map in this guide, and players are free to return to the container once they have it in hand.
With respect to what players will find inside the container that is opened by the Streamside Stash Key, it holds a Hand Flare, some Shotgun Ammo, and a Trauma Pad. While these may not be the most exciting items, they can prove to be extremely valuable, especially in the earlychapters ofAlan Wake 2. Fans are thus advised to take a momemnt to address the Streamside Stash Key and container before continuing to explore Cauldron Lake.
To note, this is certainly not the only Cult Stash in Cauldron Lake, and there is actually another one within the area designated as Streamside. While players will not need a key to open that container, they will need to solveAlan Wake 2’s Rock Rock Tree puzzle. This may appear to be a difficult endeavor upon first glance, though players that keep the lessons that they learned from the Streamside Stash Key in mind should eventually be able to resolve the puzzle.
